I kinda got how to bind the stuff and all but my problem is with the quick switch. I use q to quick switch weapons and stuff.
Uhhh... guys, I don't really want to start an argument I just need to know how to do this with the quick switch.
For the guy who wants to know I prefer a low sensitivity for my gun to aim and a high sensitivity for my knife for better trickstabbing. This does not apply to other classes such as scout or soldier. This config is only for my spy.

there is a script to use quickswitch, you can edit these lines if you want different sensitivities:
alias wep1com "r_drawviewmodel 1; sensitivity xx"
alias wep2com "r_drawviewmodel 1; sensitivity xx"
alias wep3com "r_drawviewmodel 1; sensitivity xx"

Do you realise the time it will take to your muscle memory to get used? except for sniper or medic i saw peoples using diferent settings but here...Just want to know why you do this?

IIRC Exfane had different sens for rockets and shotty.
I do this, but I don't use quick weapon switch so
bind "1" "slot1; sensitivity 4.07; viewmodel_fov 0; cl_crosshair_file crosshair3; cl_crosshair_scale 26.480000"
bind "2" "slot2; sensitivity 2.5; viewmodel_fov 0; cl_crosshair_file crosshair7; cl_crosshair_scale 23.719999 "
bind "3" "slot3; sensitivity 4.07; viewmodel_fov 95"

I've seen good Quake players do this a long time ago, but I agree, I don't really recommend it.

ipz does it too
#1, you can edit broesel's crosshair switcher to do this, it works with quickswitch

any way I can get this where q isn't quickswitch but just toggles between slot1 and slot2, with r for slot3?

I understand why you would want higher sens for rockets and lower for hitscan aim but I mean overall I don't think its worth it. hard to get used to 2 sensitivities but also its the small stuff like fucking up your airstrafes if you change weapon in midair
a few quake players do it, notably fox I guess. not very many just like TF2..
but whatever debating if its good or not isnt really the op

When i played quake and was a nerd about collecting people's configs, quite a few people would have different sensitivities for tracking weapons (LG, MG, Plasma, etc) than for twitch weapons (RG, RL, etc)

I'm not quite sure, but I think broesels crosshair switcher can do this.

honestly unless you've done this since you got into tf2 its kind of hard to wrap your head around it, i've been using the same admirable weapon custom script since i got into comp but then again i have a very strange cfg so im used to it
I used to do this and imo it's not worth it. If you get used to it sure it can work but you might as well spend the time getting used to it simply getting used to both weapons on the same sens
Rockets: 15-20 cm/360
Sg: 35cm/360
Pipes: ~38cm/360
