Competitive community is huge, efficient and well-known from the TF2 players. But what about the jump community ?

For 6 months, the Jump Academy has striven to raise a large community of jumpers from all around the world in order to rebuild the forgotten empire of jump. Nowadays, jumping isn't what it used to be, most of jumpers don´t belong to a united entity, although the possibilites in game has become almost limitless.

Today, I am proud to introduce you to our brand new movie, Zero to Hero, in collab with the incredible SFM movie makers Callegos Yavolitak, the Winglet & MrEtmer; a 5-minute story of what jumping could become thanks to our modest project.

i really liked how the bodies were animated during the rocket jumps, the rampslides, the walljump, the airstrafe at the very end. they were small things but i liked them a lot

Sick stuff man. One thing a lot of people forget when recording the jumps: r_drawdecals 0. That way you don't have all the black rocket marks from the failed jumps.

We told ourselves that it would insist on the learning process, that you cannot acheive such jumps without some failure.

Never really seen SFM animation of anything more than a "regular" rocket jump. The way the walljumps were animated in particular was 100% kickass.

I look forward to your release of the website and content. I just started learning the finer workings of jumping and have realized the community needs a way to learn from scratch, other than sporadic Youtube videos that don't go into great detail.

I did enjoy the movie, but would have enjoyed it more if the jump/time ratio was higher.
