I enjoy maining everything. Because it helps you an idea of how to support your team better at any point/situation in the game. So when you mess up a team play, you can easily look into the thoughts/actions of your teammates and adjust how you play or offer advice accordingly.
And like Cozen said, dm for scout and soldier helps with movement. And positioning as medic plays out like positioning/trap setup for demo. But then again, playing flank gives a whole new outlook on traps as demo. o.O
But scout... most opportunistic class by far if you can hit shots. Probably my favorite along with medic. But medic is the art of b/c healing people at the right time + encouraging aggression with heals (an amazing feeling).

Scout because combat skills are my most valuable asset. I don't like being in situations where you're helpless, and that doesn't happen much as scout as opposed to any other class due to movement and 2 shot potential.

Demoman since it's similar to Medic for me (with positioning, needing to stay alive, a lot of potential to change the game)and the weapons are so much fun to use. The Stickybomb Launcher is a lot of fun and it's so versatile. The Grenade Launcher is satisfying as well.
Also, I like that I don't need to jump constantly like on Soldier. I guess I'm a huge outcast, but, I don't find jumping around too much fun. On the flip side, I love the fighting mechanics of Soldier and hence that's why I love DMing/MGEing on it. But in a real game setting with bombing and stuff, I don't enjoy it.
I've also done Medic in the past, and during that period, I enjoyed the tactical role it has. Being the one to call out heals, how to execute an Uber, when to back up, etc, that was fun.

When I started the game I could only play tf2 with 20 fps and a touchpad so I played backburner pyro. Once I got a mouse I switched to soldier because I heard it was more used in competitive and it was the class that was killing me the most.

DrPloxoPyro because it makes soldier seem hard.
Wait for him to airblast, then shoot. Still easy.

I started out playing roamer and really enjoyed it. I tried to switch over to pocket and just didn't enjoy it as much and so I went back to roamer. And then at one point I decided I wanted to try scout and have been playing scout ever since. Also sniper is a ton of fun.
I think you should just pick a class and stay on that class unless you've been playing the game for a long time and making a transition to another class might be easy. I really wish that I would have just played scout and stuck with that class from the beginning but at the same time I wish I would have stuck with soldier. Also another tip is to not change your sens every fucking 5 seconds... I used to have a terrible problem with that and I no longer do and I feel like if I would have picked one sens and stuck with it from the beginning that my aim would be so much more consistent.
