Apparently decreasing this below "3" in your GPU controls can reduce input lag and/or alleviate stuttering, but can decrease FPS and/or cause stuttering.

Anyone played with it? I'm having good results with "2"--"1" gave me microstuttering.

Pre-rendered frames is the number of frames that are allowed to be buffered before being displayed.

The lower the number, the less mouse lag you will get because the each frame will be sent to your monitor as soon as it's rendered.

In Nvidia, the default setting is 3. Setting it to 0 will have it default back to 3. Set it to 1 for the fastest response times.

The more frames you buffer, the smoother the picture will be if you encounter low fps, as there are other frames the GPU can push out while it's rendering new ones, but because each frame is from a few milliseconds ago, you will get mouse lag.

#5 Flip queue size is for AMD, whereas prerendered is for Nvidia.

I believe it's in ATI Tray Tools.

On a related note, I believe ATI Tray Tools is severely outdated, and flip queue does not appear to be available in CCC. Sorry AMD users :{

dude after playing for months on a hdtv which has one of the highest input lags amongst hdtvs u stop caring about input lag and just deal with it

this shit has like 60-80ms input lag it hurt at the start but i can't change the comfyness

Any 3rd party programs like this are banned in ESEA btw. Just want to warn everyone.

I haven't used this program before. I've set my desired settings and selected steam in the launcher but still cannot get the tweaks to apply. Any tips? I know I missing something dumb.

Pretty sure that particular feature just changes some things in the registry, which you could of course do manually.

okay so, after playing around with this and failing to have it work for TF2 (what I wanted), I loaded up CS only to find it worked in CS. My LOD in CS looks like a quake config has been executed. Maybe you think this is cool, but I really don't want it for CS.

Troubling thing is, I deleted all game profiles within radeonpro, restored all values back to default, uninstalled the program, restarted my computer, and STILL I have a quake looking CS. Any one have any ideas? I feel like I'm cheating, and don't want this.

edit: Fixed it. Reinstalled program and went through restoring defaults again, and for some reason it worked this time.
