Didn't see a question here that had it but...How do you add the taunt menu to a hud that doesn't get updated anymore?

You need a hudmenutauntselection.res to go with it. You can probably grab one from a popular hud or the default one.

Is there a way to change the color of an outline of a hud element (for example, change the outline color of a crosshair or damage text from black to white)?
whats the .res file called for the streak counter usually in the bottom left in the default hud?

I was just about to answer that, as I've been working with it for the last half hour trying to move my killstreak counter.
I'm using rayshud, and I'd really like to be able to move the counter and label somewhere a little more visible, as well as hopefully make the killstreak notice when you get 5 kills not cut off longer names.
Whenever I try to move the counter, it just disappears. It seems as if there's a small panel like a selection in an image editing program where the counter is visible, and if moved off of that panel, it becomes invisible.

Look in hudlayout.res for killstreaks, you'll find it there and move the whole hud element there.
#162 You want to find anything relating to images and either change their xpos to 9999 or visible and enabled to 0. So that would be ItemEffectMeterBG, ItemEffectMeterLabel, ItemEffectMeter, ItemEffectMeterCountBG and possibly KillStreakIcon. You can make all of them visible "0" and leave only itemeffectmetercount visible.
If you don't have the file either find a newer version of our HUD or go here and download the file/s you need.

Edit these wide and tall values to make the box its in bigger, allowing more space on screen to move the number farther. Those controls decide how big the box is that it's in. Make it 0 wide 0 tall and you see nothing. Make it 1000 wide 1000 tall its much bigger and you can move the killstreak number farther.
Thank you. I'll try that now.

Have the same issue:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=301886790 the white 0 is my streak counter but when i try move it to the bottom left (where it usually is in the default hud) it disspears behind some sort of box.
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=301874995 Note where it is once i try move it and how its hidden.
Ive been moving it around with the x and y position in this file huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res
http://gyazo.com/54600eafc3b2b59ca50a4f649d71d65d
ive tried changing the wide and tall values but it still hides behind the bod. Also tried changing the wide and tall values in HudItemEffectMeter_Demoman.res like your screenshot shows.
I dont know what to do anymore:/

Put that in HudLayout.res and then try editing the huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res file. Nothing should be hidden if you try to move it.

Is there any way to change between 2 HUD Crosshairs (Fog's Crosshairs v7), for different classes? I know you can change the ingame crosshairs with crosshair_type - but I know that to change HUD crosshairs, you need to manually edit text files.
Is it possible to script up changing class to use a different font definition/HUD Crosshair?

how do I mess with the notification that appears ontop of the loadout stuff

Does anyone know how to change the text color for partially full backpack pages? (Look at this image cause I suck at explaining stuff) Changing TanDark in clientscheme doesn't seem to do anything, but the full page numbers seem to be controlled by TanLight and the empty ones by TanDarker if that helps at all.
Vectri - If you're talking about weapon menu controlled by hud_fastswitch:
Background - "TFFatLineBorder" (it'll probably affect some other stuff too though)
Weapon Number - "SelectionNumberFg"
Weapon Name - "White"
(all in clientscheme)

These loadout buttons are giving me a bit of trouble--
So, basically, I want the button you're on when you first open the loadout screen (the toolbox one)
to have an active state, like this:
http://puu.sh/aZmrX/7c81c48085.jpg
But whenever I enter the loadout screen the two buttons look exactly the same (with the dark background) and clicking on either one doesn't make the lighter state stay.
How do I fix this?

Hello, I'll want change mainmenu from yahud master blue to Garm3nHud REX, but when i resource/gamemenu and resource/ui/mainmenuoverride full materials I have problem with some script. Here is screenshot http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198117699429/screenshot/71250381416136105
RJIs it possible to script up changing class to use a different font definition/HUD Crosshair?
It is possible to change between two crosshairs with a script (at will, with no game breaking lag) but one of them would need to be an image file. See my guide here, ctrl+f for "toggling" to go to the appropriate section. I also think we're already friends on steam so shoot me a message if you're still confused.
