Thank god not any more people watched this final... Both the quality of the game and the production were depressingly low. No hype at all. I will just pretend that i52 ended on saturday night.

The way that grand final went, makes me wish that iM won the lower bracket even more.

only missed that ayo would lose to some pug team (i probably would have picked tc if i could have seen their roster on comp.tf on friday) and that epsi would drop the upper bracket finals game.

Too bad the final couldn't live up to the hype and expectations of the previous 2 days :/
Not an excuse, but 10am was pretty bad for the players after all the latenight action before and for most streamviewers aswell.
Overall the event was great to watch and (besides the final) maybe the best and most intense TF2 I've ever seen. Thanks for the amazing production and nailbiter videogames.

Well I just have to say that I loved being at i52 even though it ended like it did (my biceps were completely starving :c). But anyway the community is just amazing, maybe see you all next year?

What I've seen was the overlay staying on through the first round of Process when the game went live and no map scores in the upper right corner to keep track. I might've missed something else though.

cast/game audio was all over the place

they used steam ingame overlay to go to browser and check logs infront of ~5k people

I want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved in the production of the stream, and to all the players for putting on such an excellent show (despite the the finals). I have never enjoyed watching tf2 more than I did last night. The memories of me and my friends losing it in mumble during the iM vs Mixup game will stay with me for a long time. Thank you!

Ggs everyone, sad to be going home. We spent a lot of time training for this event and it feels like its over in a flash, shoutout to all the players and fans that i met, for my first lan experience you guys made it a pleasure.

Yes so much this. I loved lan, it is really an amazing experience, I mean even tho we could not provide a better show in the finals, I still think amazing tf2 was played at this lan. A big shoutout to everyone I met <3333

Sad I had to leave tonight rather than tomorrow but back home. Loved playing with and talking to everyone there and am already missing you all, even though I barely got to play tf2 the games that I watched were some of the greatest I've ever seen, and the atmosphere around the stage was incredible.

Also glad to have provided Shade with potatoes and a Disney Princesses Cake with the faces of NA players replacing those of the princesses.

These matches were phenomenal, I'm really glad I watched this after not paying attention to TF2 for almost 4 years. You guys rule

Yeah that's the train i got in the end. I had to get 3 different trains in the end all 5mins apart so I had to run across the station between platforms. I was really worried that I'd break my pc by slamming it down flights of stairs in my suitcase but thankfully I didn't.

how to have the worst possible end to an i52 trip:

-arrive in sydney, go to airport to fly back to perth (other side of australia, where I live)
-get told the flight has been delayed by 2 hours at checkin
-flight gets delayed another hour on top of that, after which it gets cancelled (fortunately was able to stay at termo's place)
-arrive at airport next morning
-new flight gets cancelled, moved to a later one in the day which connects through a different city (melbourne) and not a direct flight (+2 hours travel time)
-arrive in melbourne, flight back to perth gets delayed another 2 hours
-finally get back to perth, get told my luggage (with my screen and all my pc shit) was left at sydney and will arrive tonight
-luggage finally gets couriered out to me at 11:30pm and my 120hz monitor is completely broken and won't turn on

It might cover some of the costs to get a new Monitor atleast

yeah I did get insurance and specifically covered the monitor so hopefully i'll get a bit of the $450 back i just spent to replace it (good excuse to upgrade to 144hz i guess)
