I think I speak for everyone when I say this weekend was pretty much the greatest event in tf2 history and probably one of the most memorable 'semi-vacations' of everyone's lifetime.

I can't believe how much work went into the event, how much production value there was, how happy and excited everyone was to be there, and just overall how cohesive the whole tf2 community was in person. It was like everyone you've known for years and years yet never actually met just suddenly appeared in one warehouse and hotel complex for a whole weekend out of nowhere.

While I'm sure the event itself was what it will be remembered as, I think the biggest part of this weekend was seeing people come out of their shells. It's not everyday the kids putting hundreds of hours a month into this game get to go out and socialize with people of similar interests and mindsets so it was definitely a learning experience for so many people on a social level. It was just awesome to get on a personal level to get to know people and see them face to face.

I don't know how you felt about the overall production of the LAN itself, but everyone there had a fucking great time and I just wanted to say thank you. You definitely proved this game is not 'dead' and that all it takes is one person's vision to shape and mold a community into a crazy, party happy, video gaming family.

I hope the event was as fun for you as it was for myself and every person I got to talk to. If you need help next year/in the future just ask for it, I don't think there's anyone who attended who wouldn't be down to help create such an amazing social, competitive, and loving experience for this community. For real, thank you. <3 :3

The 2nd tournament went by smoothly and without any significant interruption. This is highly unusual as most LANs tend to cock up the TF2 tournament in one way or another.

I was fully impressed. Well done, Nick.

Everyone played really well, essentially the most entertaining LAN I've seen. Applause to Nick + all the casters + production crew for a convincing LAN.

Big ups to the legend himself. Volenteering days of his own time and money(over 1 grand mind you) all for the well being of the LAN. This man actually cares about this game.

Thanks m8

Iv'e been to a few other lans in the past, but this just blew them all out of the water. Along with being one of the best events I've ever been to, it was one of the most fun weekends I've ever had.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible, and I'm glad I could help get things moving on Friday morning.

Thank you Fragile! From what I've seen and heard, it looks like everyone had a good time. And thank you casters! [Hopefully I can make it if GXL 2015 happens.]

What I caught of it was great. Wish I could have been there, it just didn't work out this time. Please set next year's LAN for the 16th-18th please So I can go easily :3

I intend on going to the IU LAN next month, details should be coming soon. Hopefully we can set up a nice get-together there.

I want to post a nice speech but I think it needs its own thread and I also need to sleep so not now

Hildrethyour very own community LAN 'murica, well done, build on this hype for next year.

itll build and build and after 45 lans, or like 15 since its once a year, Europe will send teams over. GXL will be the NA version of Insomnia!

And one of these days? I'll make it to GXL

Thank you Fragile, and everyone else (a lot of people) who put time and hard work into this event. It was so great in every way. I got to meet so many people that I've known for years online and see so many familiar faces. It was a kickass weekend and I hope there will be more in the future.

This was my first LAN. It was the most surreal and incredible experience of my life, and it was insanely fun. I know it was super stressful to manage all this, so a huge thank you for sacrificing your money, time, and effort just so that we all could have a great time. Looking forward to next year's.

I cannot express enough thanks in a sentence for all your work fragile. Being one of the ~3 people in the tf2 community who lives/works in Delaware, lemme buy you a lunch sometime on behalf of the tftv community.

Based on friends stories and pictures/tweets I've seen (and the thanks given here) this seems like an extremely fun LAN. I couldn't make it because of midterms but hopefully the HYPE that GXL was going to be great and then the HYPE being true will make it an even bigger turn-out next year which hopefully I can make. For people who stayed, how were the sleeping conditions and the transition phases while you waited for the next event?
