currently i'm only watching korra and the walking dead. i caught up with parks and recreation so i'm waiting for that and orange is the new black.
(parks is actually the fucking funniest show i've ever seen.)
Just recently got all caught up with The Legend of Korra and god damn it's great. Especially the 3rd season.
Heroes S1 is pretty good
Prison Break S1 is amazing, S2 is good (stop watching the series at s02's last episode about 30-35 minutes in... when you feel like the series could just end right there, you'll know what I mean. beyond this point they just drag it on and on.)
Hannibal
Fargo (TV and movie)
The Wire (HBO is going to remaster it in HD soon)
I've heard good things about the aussie "Utopia" (which is what I assume the british guy was talking about earlier in the thread, and was downvoted by somebody probably thinking about FOX's Utopia)
Scrubs is really funny
I was a fan of LOST, especially during s05 (spoilerless hint LaFleur/Namaste) which is when the show starts catching some flak I think.
Game of Thrones, obviously
Six Feet Under is good, and has probably one of the greatest finales ever.

BonafideBoyhood was excellent. Linklater also directed a trilogy, with Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight. I highly recommend those as well to anyone who enjoyed Boyhood.
The Before trilogy is amazing. It's not for everyone since it's mostly dependent on dialogue but I love it. I've yet to see Boyhood but I'm a big Linklater fan so I expect good things out of it.
Also I'm surprise no one's mentioned Boardwalk Empire in here yet. One of the best shows I've seen and easily one of Steve Buscemi's greatest performances. The first two seasons are some of the best things I've seen on television.

The Office (UK version)
Fargo (Really good)
True Detective (Probably my all time favourite TV show)
Movies:
Prisoners (Really fucking good)
The Prestige
Usual Suspects
Any film by David Fincher
Any film with Roger Deakins (seriously most of the films this dude works on are fucking masterpieces, Prisoners being one of them)
Fargo
Pacific Rim (If you want to just switch off and be entertained)
City of God

There's way to many for me to go through tbh, I'd highly recommend going through the films with Roger Deakins working on them, they really are beautiful to watch, same with David Fincher films.
