spent my first 3k hours pubbing here then i switched to play on No Heroes vanilla koth/payload/valve map servers then those also died. now i just play on no heroes badwater/goldrush. just a matter of time until i get banned from there since half of the regular VIP players think i cheat

Started out on småland online before it more or less split into lokalen (#6 represent) & eXhale.
Also a shitton of United SpawnKillers orange-servers (so many nude-sprays)

aycerus trade and fun server. it was as much as a shitfest then as much as it is now. but it was fun getting people mad because all you had to do was taunt after a kill.
Valve servers, then moved to cp_orange, then skial hightower/badwater/upward 24/7. good times ;-;
Railbait #01, where people actually try to work as a team in a 16v16 server. Last I checked, they ran Warpath, Swiftwater, and Borneo, which was a nice change of pace.
I know servo/shrugger/infuzion/kL/etc from MassInsanity arena badlands, good times. Not sure if that's where they started though
I started my own community. Nothing serious, but ive never joined any other server since ^.^

stoogegaming coldfront
Pretty sure when protf2 started declining some of the members went on to form stoogegaming which bolt and altfx are a part of. Purpleshirt's also pretty well known in that community.

TDRgaming. Was pretty good at CSS pubbing and pioneer of the TF2 pub. At the age of 14(15?) became a multigame admin and abused the living shit out of it. So I changed paths and became a eSport professional.
Shoutout to Tony Swan, he was like 12 and played ZPS all day. Hence the name, Tony Swan.

tf2newbs. Haven't been a fan of the administration and shit for a while, but I've definitely met a lot of my best friends on the dustbowl servers there.

slaughterhouse and some popular furry server, forgot the name. i think the name stated with C and wasn't a real word, it was the owners screen-name.
keep in mind I was like 12 and did not know what a furry was, I just liked their map rotation. i remember being grossed out and never going back after I had to reinstall TF2 (thus having my config disabled) and seeing the sprays they all put up. shit was nasty

tf2f,
had its ups and downs but was definitely one of the best communities in terms of mapping/pub tf2 content

met some cool guys on kritzkast servers, 3 years later and we (with some new additions) still hang out in mumble most days. it's what got me into comp, and they're what's keeping me here. we still pub on the exact server we met on every now and then :>
kritzkast, teamplayergaming, star's server when it first started, also played a lot of skial badwater and harvest
Fugworld
I absolutely loved their servers and the people. The regulars aren't very active on the servers these days, but the community is still thriving with an active forum and teamspeak (and a booming 2fort server). Friendliest group of people I've played with in TF2 though
I remember TLR was a regular on our servers way back when and half the server would go crazy when he'd join. The other half of course going "who the hell is TLR?"

Lotus Badwater East Coast. Used to be part of the Lotus group as a member and tried to get some sort of comp interest going there, but that was a flop. I still admin on their servers to stop aimboters, bug abusers, and griefers.
