i mean i personally just skimmed thru the OPs post and read all the hatred post towards snoven
but i mean this is what you guys kinda get since you have a stream/charity event that has a pyro as the advertised class, plus the name "Flares That Care".

he has also taken down the schedule that was on the site of Flares that Care.
anyway: as much as i am disgusted by what has been going on behind the scenes, i do sincerely hope that this could still be realised:

I just talked with snoven in the flares that care mumble. I tried to convince him to keep the event going and only have monetary donations that go directly to the charity but he refused to keep the event going besides 1 hour this afternoon. It would be a real shame if all the collaborative effort that went into this was wasted because snoven isn't willing to face his past. I would still like to participate in the showmatch tomorrow and i'll do my best to have everyone else from mts and knd attend, but we still need a streamer/casters/etc.
Someone please take over this event and remember what it's actually about.

Social anxiety isn't even a good excuse. Most of the time it only applies to situations in real life. When doing it on the internet you are basically saying you have a fear of being judged, and therefore inducing anxiety. But you are running an event that requires you to be social. That contradicts any social anxiety you may have, because you are looking to be judged positively. Also I have that disorder, and I could care less what an online community thinks of me. Then again I have been diagnosed, and I am on treatment for that problem. I suggest getting checked out for it yourself, and to find treatment options.

However, I want to reiterate that I am happy to make the server available to anybody running similar events to this, whether that be ToTH or somebody else. There's plenty of room for good deeds beyond the yearly ToTH, and I hope this incident doesn't force others considering planning things to stop. Everybody has skeletons in their closet, part of life is moving on. I got VAC banned and laughed out of the competitive community 6 years ago as a stupid kid, but stuck around with the game and ended up running a server network bigger than I ever imagined it would be.

If he had good intentions wouldn't he still continue the event despite the information coming out? I think it is clear after he bailed when Digresser (many thanks btw) revealed this.

im cancelling due to the reputations of other people involved and for the lack of participants to make this a whole event, if id still run it id postpone it, but i dont want to ruin reputation so somebody else can run it to still make it a good event

Dang. When I saw this event and saw that that moron of the community named Plotchy was an admin of the PR team (lol...), I knew to stay far far away.
