My predictions-

Skadoodle has been offered a spot on the Cloud 9 team as the main awper since shazam got kicked, and now has to make a choice between C9 and hiko's squad. (Assuming Hiko invited Skadoodle)

Desi leaves elevate and joins Hiko. Semphis is then invited by elevate to join the roster.

That's pretty much it for my predictions. It's hard to guess who will leave their organization for Hiko.

Ska is going to stay with hiko. The obvious choice is that swag comes back after the ban is overturned and plays with ska and nitro (who he is close with) and hiko (who has said he'd do anything to play with swag again). Maybe by then c9 will have crashed and burned again and shroud will be open to becoming the 5th for that team.

shroud said on his stream yesterday that C9's fifth will be someone you've probably never heard of or would expect. He also said he's not planning on leaving C9 any time soon.

I'm actually gonna put money on ryx joining cloud 9. Ryx is sort of unknown and could easily be in invite but he sort of talks some trash and burned bridges with higher level players. He most recently played for Tempo Gaming in Premier and completely carried the team to a no loss season. The guy is really good I'd be interested to see how he does at a higher level.

And as far as skadoodle offered a spot on c9, hiko and skadoodle are coming as a package

I would be satisfied with desi on ht, but honestly I think the guy is slightly overhyped. Shroud would definitely be my favorite to join the team but he is unfortunately going to stay with c9 for now. Hopefully swags ban gets lifted so he can join ht and after talking with owl extensively I'm completely onboard with his thoughts. Hopefully that happens

Hiko said he had offers from every top team except c9, so elevate, clg, liquid, luminosity etc. actually i think he had an offer from c9 but he didn't like the contract/org or something like that.

Also said on stream he didn't join liquid because he felt the players didn't have the complete hunger to win and nitro said he wouldn't have the time to bootcamp several times a year and dedicate tons of time with school and stuff. There was also some reluctance from the liquid guys that turned him off.

Yea I think Liquid would've probably made more sense, plus hasn't PC been having some pretty incredible results recently?

even if PC is joining CLG (which I've only heard as a rumor, not 100% sure if true), Hiko always had the option to join team liquid. it seems like he felt as if the org, and team, was too loathe to cut players underperforming. I'm assuming he would have joined TL to replace daps, so maybe that wouldn't have been as much of an issue, but after C9 I think Hiko wants a team hungry enough to make roster moves if they're blatantly necessary.

TL was still prolly a better choice than Nihilum tho, but who knows, maybe this'll become Hiko and Semphis' team and they can manage it from now on and make changes when needed.

The CLG team is pretty dysfunctional. Watched steel's stream early this morning where they were talking with tarik and Hazed, and they kept mentioning that they don't all watch demos or actively try to fix their problems. They also have a lot of problems with their strat calling and its likely that it won't change much.

If Hiko wants to win now, CLG probably wasn't an option (even though he said he shouldn't be picky about teams anymore).

Nihilum is a great team, only thing they were lacking was experience which semphis and Hiko should help with. Sad they had to lose PC though.

Hiko didn't join TL because it would've been the ultimate concession. He's too much of an egoist to backtrack that far. Originally he was creating a team with ska and the 3 liquid players (nitro/fugly/adren) and it was important to him that they leave liquid and create a new team. Why? Probably a lot of reasons, but a big one is that he wanted to create a team not join one. Nihilum gives Hiko his little pond to play big fish, going to TL after he lost ska and the liquid players refused to leave their org would've been embarassing.

Who AWPs for Nihilum now, I thought Professor Chaos was doing a pretty damn good job. In fact the last couple of LANs I'd argue he was their best overall player. Don't really get why they would cut him of all the peoples.

I have a feeling C9 might stay the top team. Sad day but it's possible the team could be very strong with their recent pickups. On the flipside I can see them being the same old team with the same old problems (aside from shazam being absolutely atrocious). The team's core really hasn't changed all too much on the strategic side of things. Semphis did occasionally call but I can see Jordan and seangares continuing to be around a mediocre level. Who knows maybe these pickups will really make everyone play a step above and fix all these problems
