GetawhaleI very much enjoyed tonight's cast. You and Deer were perfectly entertaining, and I listened to the first few rounds Audio Only on the drive home - it sounded awesome!
I want to throw out my oddball suggestion about intros. I'm sick of at the start of casts, hearing everyone do the same "Hello my name is X, and this is Y. How are you today Y?" "Oh I'm great I'm excited for some great TF2!" As a viewer, that is not interesting to hear at all.
If you really insist on asking how the other caster is (they will always say good or great) at least add something extra to the end of it to make it more interesting. Something about the match importance, or the teams, or some storyline. Mix it up! It sounds very canned when you just say How's It Goin.
This is 100% cosmetic and does not affect a cast but is something I've wanted to express for a while. Not just EVL, but all orgs.
Keep it up guys!

During a highlander match, I think the Cameraman should give combo, sniper, and scout priority focus during mid fights. These classes generally see more of the battle and are affected by everyone's movements in highlander. It is generally more entertaining to see how teams push and defend through these classes since they are top speed, all seeing, and require top quality hit scan. Demo is cool to watch but literally only during a push and for short times. The other classes are all entertaining but only in a 1v1 setting or during a kritz so keep the camera on Scout, Heavy, Sniper mostly

We have dashner doing our HL casts now, and if he has cheat feed working (last week we had some issues with our cheat feed server) he focuses generally on frags, prioritizing back stabs / drops / headshots etc. Cheat feed usually shows those in a darker color.

yes statusspec_specguiorder_enabled 1 fixes what gaben fucks up.
btw i like the stream, i think you guys want to set up a log scene on obs or whatever you use, looks stupid if you just add it after match and resize the window on the fly. the stream is far away from my timezone, but sometimes i watch a vod when im eating.
