I turned off the health bar over other players, and it works fine without that feature. Use it mainly in 6s/pubs though, so not sure if MvM is supported decently enough.

I updated it 2 months ago and the official website should support the newer version.

I'm dumb... i fixed it.... Thank you, i installed the rainbow crosshair and replayed the thumbnails, didn't keep the important things in like the main-menu stuff! gg

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or noticed but the names of people who you look at break outside the text box that they are inside. Also, the health over people's heads tends to just say HEALTH often.

Not sure if it's hudas-specific but I've recently had a bug for the last couple of days where I can't see the winpanel (the scoreboard at the end of each round which shows the top 3 and their killstreaks). I've already reinstalled the hud and put in the folder located in "extras" named "winpanel with avatars & killstreak".

I've been using this hud for over a year now and it only happened in the last couple of days. Could it be because I've been watching POV demos of other players?

Thanks for those who kept the hud alive and thanks to the community for being so patient with the ongoing The Gun Mettle Update!

Hotfix/Update for The Gun Mettle Update:

  • Updated lots of files related with Gun Mettle.
  • New colourschemes added.
  • Scoreboard adjusted with the current update and LocalStats panel changed to darker scheme till Valve fixes it.
  • Main Menu is compatible with contracts.
  • Backpack Menu // Store ItemLabel // Loadout ItemLabel updated // (wait for Valve to fix the darker item backgrounds - If majority of you request, I will add Omni's method used in NotoHud).
  • Updated the item inspect panel (most of the time broken - item server related stuff - blame Valve).

To-Do List:

  • Continue trying to update Tournament readymode as much as possible till Valve fixes it!
  • Improve Inspect Panel till satisfied.
  • Fix upcoming bug reports from you guys.

Please note that scoreboard is not compatible at lower resolutions like other custom huds [caused by avatar_width not scaling with the screen resolution]; until a new update comes, please use what DrFallen has shared. If Valve decides to not update this, I will re-do the whole scoreboard.

Report as much bugs/suggestions as possible to here!

These are 'updated files' to be overwritten with the latest hud files found in the website. Hopefully website will be updated with the full/compiled version!

Hey technothug_ Which set of files did you download? I think reddots post has the most updated files, It isn't a full release. If you need the overrides you can download them from the main site as normal. We're look into a full release soon though :)

For the moment I believe the plan is to keep it on it's own dedicated site that we built. I've pushed an full update for those of you who are waiting. Version 1.5.2 is now available from the site (http://hudas.kinevonetwork.com). Be careful with some of the extras as I believe they may interfere with some of the files that have been updated recently. If there is anything wrong/feedback let us know either here or in the group.

If I want to install multiple extras which require changing the same file, what do I do?
Eg.
charge meters with labels AND Quick Play button both require changing ClientScheme.res.

Contracts were added as part of the 1.5.2 update. As you can see here they are next to the menu buttons. Hope this helps.

Installing the QuickPlay extra removes the gun mettle information in the main menu.

Edit: It might be the charge meter with labels that removes it but I'm not sure.

Yes I believe that the quickplay extra may need to be reconfigured to match the update as the clientscheme.res was a file that was updated.

What's up guys, the recent update changed the backpack panels so they're a border instead of full color. I tried to fix this myself but didn't go very well. :(

A hotfix for this/advice on how to fix it myself would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I fixed that problem and some others as well myself. Here's a link.

But note that it has some minor custom things. For example, I removed the Killstreak icon and changed the class selection menu so it would look like the one from rayshud. You can remove those if you want. To do that, simply switch the files HudItemEffectMeter_Killstreak.res and ClassSelection.res for the ones that originally come with the hud.

Alternatively, if you just want that fix, you can just use this Clientscheme.res instead, located in hudasiscariote/resource https://www.mediafire.com/?bwlp1aw31851a2t

@TheChosenGun Did you any chance ask this on the group? No worries either way but as far as I know there is no way to pre set the hud to have to two colours in teams of team colours. I'd assume that's why border is only able to be team colored.

@boat_ Hmm this may of been an oversight but you can enable this yourself just in the tf2 backpack. There is a dropdown to enable colour borders.

@Onen Thanks for looking into it. Unfortunately your fix will end up breaking the borders in the backup completely after scrolling on the new skinned weapons. I'd like to know what else you fixed.
