The items may have some sentimental value, but it's really his decision on whether he wants to just sell the stuff and get some cash to quickly get the PSU, or just wait it out for people to throw cash at him. I'm not siding with the people complaining in this thread, but simply stating that I understand where they are coming from.
ok let's just get this straight, the problem with selling donated items isn't that they have sentimental value, it's that there is an expectation when you give someone a gift that they won't just turn around and sell it for cash
this is the same forum that defended Ruwin and yz50 when they sold the unusuals they were gifted by fans right?
its a gift, a donation, they can do whatever they want with it
im not saying powah has to sell his shit, but its totally within his right and would have been a pretty viable option if he needed a quick 100

True, but the circumstances with ruwin and yz50 seem a bit different, if I recall both had quit the game at some point in there time with TF2? Didn't ruwin sell it all when he went into CSGO?

True, but the circumstances with ruwin and yz50 seem a bit different, if I recall both had quit the game at some point in there time with TF2? Didn't ruwin sell it all when he went into CSGO?

one big difference, ruwin got the unusual via twitch stream and he never begged for a unusual on tf.tv forum.
More players are taking tf2 community for granted and after the i55 lan fund raiser we will see trend of more players begging for money for anything.
tf2 communities generousity has limits and it wont go so well for the next lan funds

if something broke on my computer and i was tight on cash i'd ask my friends if they had any spare parts lying around that i could get on the cheap or if they could loan me the money first

Its funny because you fucking morons think that he can just get a shit tier job like in the USA and still make upwards of 10 dollars per hour.
He'd get paid about 250 dollars per month with luck working 40 hours a week in a low tier job in brazil.
