King_GimliCan i start a fundraiser as (what i feel like im going to be) the only crowd member at the competition?
I'm going as a spec, along with the Manchester's best demoman, a Seagull killer and Matt "Charitable Vixen" CV.

The more fundraisers the less people will donate. LEGO have only like £100 aswell. You will get more donations in the future of course but I wouldn't expect to get all that much. I55 had a huge fundraiser just a few months ago that a lot of people put a lot of their hard earned money into. Now we have 3 different donation drives in the past like 4 days. People who donated to i55 are a lot less likely to donate again to a different tournament a few months later that isn't nearly as big (only 4 teams). Also since LEGO have a fundraiser up as well and shadowburn made one a few days ago people might just want to only donate to one of these fundraisers. Considering the TF2 community has gone huge with donations in the last few summer I-Series events I could understand why a lot of people won't be wanting to donate to this as well. I hope you get enough to make it there though.

fuck's sake Arie give me a chance to finalise everything :D
Huge thank you to TF2center/MasterNoob. He's provided us with the last bit of money required for us to get to DreamHack. We'll be competing as team #tf2center from now on :)
I'll remove the donation link now, and I urge you all to instead donate to LEGO now.
Thanks to everyone who donated.

like we can 100% go to dreamhack thanks to the support of tf2c? :) means we don't rely on the community now to get there/make it happen. it's a good thing, regardless.

Funny because you also raised a fundraiser for yourself.

Amazing gesture from Masternoob (and TF2Center)! Specially after the whole Deutschlan fiasco this is the absolute best way to start repairing your rep.
I mean, the guy has done so much for the community through his work on tf2center and its obvious he has a big passion for the game whether it is 6s or HL, he just has no fuckin clue how to deal with people sometimes. This is a step in the right direction now they just need to leave the moderation work to a team who actually knows how to deal with people and it's not comprised of 12 year olds with no clue of how PR works.

Great that masternoob did this as I think this might have been the only way. He's still a massive idiot though.

I made an imraising page for my friends who wanted to see me go to LAN and asked me to make one so I could go. I didn't even make a thread. It was not a community fundraiser it was just for my friends who were asking me to make one so they could donate. Seriously dude you think anyone was actually gonna donate to see my TF2 skills or to see me compete at the highest level of TF2?
However I am still currently accepting donations feel free to donate @ https://imraising.tv/u/sheepytf2
