I was always, and still will be an EC1/EC1-A fan.
DanceNumberi might be the only person alive who likes the shape of the g303. I find it grippy.
mouse is incredible though.
Shape looks awkward because it's not round like the majority of other mice, but it feels great
The braided cable isn't all that great but some duct tape and life's all good

re:finalmouse 2015:
higher tracking latency than other 3310 mice. 4ms instead of 2ms. very lightweight though and pretty good shape, competent click delay. surface compatibility problems.
would only recommend for the most specialized of players. Otherwise, if you still want a 3310 mouse, get a KPM or something

As has been accurately stated above, the g303 and g502 have the best sensors. Zowie fk1 is better than the fk2 but it has the click delay so in terms of your mouse accurately doing what your hand does accurately and instantaneously, the g303 and g502 are the best.
Not all FK1 manufacturings have click delay, but you're really rolling dice when you buy one because there's backstock on pretty much all hardware.
I use (and I'm probably going to be the only one here to say this) a Mad Catz RAT7. Love the ability to shape it to your own hand (particularly the adjustable thumb thing) but these have been known to have quality issues. Sensor also isn't amazing, but its super comfortable for me.
I wish there were more mice in general that supported having shitty massive hands. I use a logitech g600, not because of any of its features (the keypad on the side is pretty terrible + you will hit the top column of buttons regularly) but because the keypad makes the mouse itself go so high up that I never touch the mousepad while moving around
Jojoposh_are the ec1-a or ec2-a any good?
Ec1-a is god tier if you like mid to large sized ergonomic mice. Pretty similar shape to the deathadder and pretty light.
FK1, FK2, EC-A series and ZA series all have the Avago 3310 sensor, which is the reason you buy a zowie. Any of them will be good, mouse shape is a preference thing and that's the only difference.

Just got the G502 Proteus, really ergonomic, super comfy to rest my hand on it. Best sensor too! Also, can add weight to the mouse if you want. Very tune-able, and has the familiar G5 shape that was popular since 2005.
anyone here used the evo cl from zowie before? been looking to make the move from my fk onto something new, im thinking either that, the deathadder, or the g400. some input on the evo cl would be nice,
I love the EC1-A. Sensor is perfect, shape is perfect, coating is perfect, it feels like the mouse is massaging your hand while playing. Most comfy mouse ever.

for sensors
this would be your bet
my g400 has been great for 2 years but I hear zowie has a lot of good stuff, pretty sure there's a size differential chart somewhere

maelstromhas anyone tried the mionix castor?
the reviews are pretty damn good
I bought a naos, so I can confirm that the sensor is really good and the build quality is also great. The coating is not as good as zowie's for me, but I can see many liking it better actually. It's very soft. Unfortunately, the naos ended up simply being unusable for me due to its shape, apparently my hands are too large for this large-hand ergonomic mouse. Zowie EC1-a ended up fitting perfectly. But aside from the shape everything about the naos was great, so I assume if the castor's shape is good for you, it's a great choice. The driver software is also nice, it feels cleaner than Razer's for example. And you get to rub your mouse over every surface in your house and test the grip quality.

Had this until it broke and loved it. They should produce them again.

ApHfrom what I've heard razer products are prone to breaking and the click latency isnt that great either
I've had my Razer Naga Hex for almost 4 years, no issues.
I've heard over the past couple years, the overall quality of Razer products has declined, which is unfortunate. If my sensor doesn't wear out, it will be the feet on the bottom. It's a shame because I'd replace it with another Naga Hex, but I'm reluctant to if what people say is true about the declining build quality.
