KanecoHey guys is it cool if we use these for comp.tf map pages as well?
Absolutely. Anything to help. I saved all the images as PNGs, afaik imgur compresses them a bit. If you want the PNGs just ask, I'll zip them the upload them somewhere

imgur compresses in most scenarios if jpg will save filesize, if you aren't signed in when you upload
if you're signed in then there's an option on the settings page to disable automatic compression

I did pl_barnblitz_pro6; any feedback would be appreciated. Again, tried to take these from POVs I might find most useful doing map talks and then extras for more options and alternative approaches so this should be enough: http://imgur.com/a/SoPG0

Oh, that's cool. For the purposes of feedback (handiness) I'll just throw them into imgur albums but if anyone wants full maps zipped, just shoot me a msg!

The file open button now gives you more options and the potential to remove old saves

Yesterday War had some trouble streaming because the viewer now required login. I've implemented a dumb viewer that doesn't have the ability to request or acquire session control and therefore doesn't need login. It's accessible from "Streamable link" just after the viewer link at the top of the controller.
Big Highlander map update. Added:

This tool is pretty cool man! I'm gonna definitely try and use this more often :)
Tool's really shaping up for the HL side of things!
CocoforcocopuffsI was also thinking that something I would be interested in seeing is like a usage stat somewhere, maybe like an overall rooms created counter, and then a per map counter or something...doesn't seem like this would be hard, but I have zero experience on the dev side of things.
Currently 1462 rooms created, 322 saved sessions. No idea on the maps, that's all stored in the drawing data.

I think I am going to start using this to go over strats with my team, this is a great Idea and I hope to see it go far :3
Add metalworks to the list of maps available? Alternately, perhaps an option to add your own images to be backgrounds?
Freehand Mode Added

For those who have struggled with or don't like the formality of the vector tools (probably everyone) you can just sketch whatever you want however you want in freehand mode. The docs have been updated, the drawing panel slightly reworked. There is also a new proper colour selector instead of the clunky drop down selectors.
Also I identified and fixed a bug that could seriously reduce performance when the editor is refreshed.

If you want to take some screenshots post them here or add me or pm them and I'll queue them up. Otherwise I'll try to get them done at some point in the near future, although I'm not sure any contributors so far have much experience on the map.

drshdwpuppetim not sure if it has been suggested, but the ability to export to jpg/png would be sick
I'm currently looking at this, but there are some technical complications caused by large image sizes. This means the server has to be involved and I want to be careful about having files building up on disk. Will probably be the next update though.

I've added an image export button in both the controller and viewer. It will save in the same size as the display, so controller images are disappointingly small but you can always open a viewer as well. Because of restrictions on data sizes the images have to do a round trip to the server, so large images may take a while particularly if you are on a crappy connection. Also there's a size limit of around 10MB so a 4k display probably won't work.
The filename is a combination of your steamid and the room name, if this is a problem let me know and I'll implement custom naming.

UPDATE - Steam Images
I've added the ability to use images from your Steam screenshots as backgrounds. This doesn't mean I won't be adding maps in the future, but it makes it more flexible for you now. Your screenshots need to be public for this to work.
I haven't added it to the docs yet but I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to do that so I thought I'd make this available now. In the controller there is now a new button at the bottom of the file options to use a Steam image. This will open up a popup showing your current steam screenshots - this can be a little slow, give it a few moments to load.
Note that screenshots taken aren't uploaded immediately, you need to go through some steps in the overlay to get them uploaded if you want to use something you're capturing at the time.

GentlemanJon, would it be possible to add the map Reckoner to the map selection ?
Thank you
Thank you
I can provide the screenshots of reckoner if needed
Oh yeah, I've got the screenshots just need to get them in the system
Is it going to ruin anybody's TF2 experience if this dies? The domain is up for renewal soon and I'm not sure if it's worth renewing, activity has been pretty patchy for a while.
Me and my friends use it regularly but it's NA off-season right now

I was planning on using it as part of coaching a newbie mix open team
