Found a friend from another game who got in the beta and isn't interested in overwatch at all so I have an account to play with now. I don't wanna add a ton of people to his friends randomly from this thread but if we know each other and you're down to pound hit me up on steam and i'll add you for some gamez
my hype for this game is dying rapidly considering fucking nobody gets into the beta and the possibility of dlc after we have to pay 60 bucks up front.
dirty bomb 2.0

it's 40 bucks, the 60 dollar version is a preorder pack that comes with some skins and items for other blizzard games

u mean $40, which tbh, is a nice pricepoint and deterrent to cheaters esp considering blizz games dont oft go on sale

the only thing i'm bummed about is missing out on getting onto a really good team early on since the beta is so elusive
i already bought the game so i'm planning on playing it regardless, but i think that really is the worst part for me

I agree it seems like the people who got beta sorta have an edge over others

new wave, check your bnet/email. they're flagging right now (not done yet so wait until a tweet from @PlayOverwatch).

Though it is lame that people in the beta now can start getting onto teams if the game actually takes off it's pretty far fetched to pretend any of the current "top" teams will really the best teams considering all sorts of players with different backgrounds and skill sets will jump in and the talent pool will be exponentially larger.
Really to even call the current teams the best teams is a misnomer considering the population of not only total players but actual competitive players in OW is very low.
I mean if you're playing from day one of the actual open beta/product release you'll still very likely to find a team and establish yourself.

Completely agree, people on reddit bitching about not getting in because they want to "go pro" cracks me up genuinely. In the grand scheme of things, 6 months more practice over other players is not much and if you're serious about wanting to take the game into the realm of e-sports, and if thats the only hurdle stopping you then you've got pretty good odds to begin with.
