Any point in an open player bringing a pc? Are there mixes or someting during down time? Going purely as spectator doesnt sound great.

Going as a spec is amazing, it means you can get shit faced and not have to get up super early to play serious-ish games. I've done it the last two years for i-series and it's been pretty sweet. Though I don't know the schedule for GA so this could be s sub-par plan.

Without the venue providing rental PCs or having a sponsorship for them, teams found it very difficult to transport themselves and desktops to the middle of France. Might still get one team there, but it's unlikely.

With that in mind, I guess that the planned coverage from tftv is cancelled too?

Actually we may have a solution, stay tuned! Maybe not though, all up in the air.

We might not have a stream from the event itself but we are planning on having a stream covering the games regardless.

We have to discuss with the organiser Futurolan in order to validate the sponsorship.

- These two hotel are far from the GA but cheaper.
- There are some others closer to the LAN (especially Hôtel ibis Poitiers Beaulieu, takes 10 minutes in walk to GA) but more expansive.
- There is also a gynasium in front of GA (20€ / all week-end).
- Airbnb can be an alternative solution

Fmapkmn- There are some others closer to the LAN (especially Hôtel ibis Poitiers Beaulieu, takes 10 minutes in walk to GA) but more expensive.
Went for this option, £200 for 3 nights in a room with a double bed and a single bed, cheaper than i58 hotel costs.
Also ferry from dover to calais for £75.

Hey, I know it's very late considering GA is in two weeks only, but we managed to find some sponsorship, including 12 high end pcs (and free) that would be brought to GA by the sponsor. If any teams think they can make it in time for GA (buying tickets, and booking their flights), we can provide them with computers (still investigating on the possibility to get monitors).
myself, kos, donut, and fl1p are interested if we can find a pocket and demo. If you're out there, DM me!

Spoke to fmapkmn about this, really thankful I don't have to drive all my stuff down!
Hopefully monitors are sorted as well but even the PCs are an awesome thing

Skeej can't come due to irl commitments.
I know it's late notice but we need 1 person.
Hotel is already booked, we have PCs being provided by us (still need to bring monitor) and we've booked the ferry across.
Add me of Hildreth asap please.
