I think too much mge causes worse habbits than too much soap-dm, both are great tools for improving but just keep that in mind.

I find as a scout, especially against other scouts, mge can just completely change my aim style compared to what I do in a game, so I would recommend you only do dm as scout, but that is just my personal opinion with a high sense, so you may find it different

I usually mge before a scrim/official to warm up.
and dm is to practice/get back to shape if I didn't play for a while.

mge, because you actually learn how to take a fight/1v1/take the advantage over someone. dm is there to give you a taste of what happens if you overextend

Depends on how you learn and what you want to accomplish. Personally I find that mge gives me muscle memory for the specific shots that you have to hit in a certain arena, where dm prepares you for general aim more. Dm still only really gives you the muscle memory for the area of the map that you play on.
Overall I feel like I improve my aim in actual games (scrims, mixes, officials etc.) by playing dm over mge, but it really depends on how you learn.

I have on tf2 2700 hours and 530 hours as soldier. I play mge everyday, but now I feel like mge little bit useless and I need something better where I can improve.

so if you feel like mge is starting to be useless, and the second option you gave is dm, what's the problem?

I didn't know what should I choose because I felt like im not improving. That's why I posted this post.

You say you want to get better but I'm pretty sure you're only talking about improving your DM ability. There's a lot more to getting better than just DM (of course, DM plays a big part) that I'm sure you'd want to work on if you truly wanted to get better (good communication, coordination with teammates as a result and so on).

Pugs/finding a team to scrim with and commit to would be a great way to work on those "other" things.

AcyridI have on tf2 2700 hours and 530 hours as soldier. I play mge everyday, but now I feel like mge little bit useless and I need something better where I can improve.

A lot of people dm/mge mindlessly, and even though it will still help your muscle memory, there's a point when you can't really improve your dm (and obviously other things) unless you actually think about your mistakes at least a little. It seems like that's one reason why people's dm seems to sort of plateau at a low level even when they constantly dm. To prevent this, try to think about why that player hit a good rocket/shot on you instead of thinking it was just a good/lucky shot (or that you simply couldn't have prevented it). You can change the outcome of every situation. The same thing applies to your aim, try to actually think about some of the shots you're going for. For instance, on soldier you could question how you could've differently shot your rocket to hinder their movement to make your next shot easier.

I feel like it's easier to think through these mistakes in mge and dm is helpful to practice hitting all your shots.

yeah both of them breed shitty habits, mge encourages dumb stuff like counterjumping and obviously is just an unrealistic situation, but DM encourages suiciding into big groups of people because you can chain kills so easily. both of them encourage playing like a baiting retard and hiding from your opponent to get the upper hand, which will obviously ruin you in actual games. i think a mix of both is healthy as long as you are playing in a 6's environment regularly too. if you just nolife on dm/mge and never play the actual game then you won't ever understand what the bad habits are and how to avoid them.
