HenyWe’re at a point where separation between the community and the competitive teams would be more than beneficial
I'm actually interested in the reasoning behind this. I would have assumed that sharing a name between a successful org and esports teams would mean more publicity for both parties, which is helpful for things like sponsorships.

Company management.
Besides if you had a TF2 team called Saigns.de eSports, I doubt many people would think of you as a serious undertaking. A majority of people think of Publiclir as a public community and not an MGO in that sense of the term (afaik).

Crowns (E-)Sports Club sounds like it should be a rugby club especially with the lion logo.
Definitely the fanciest name in prem.

We’re at a point where separation between the community and the competitive teams would be more than beneficial, and as such we’ve chosen to move our teams to the newly started Crowns Esports Club. Crowns will from now on house Publiclir’s competitive teams and provide the best possible support.
According to the TL wiki Publiclir doesn't have a CS team atm but I think it'd be safe to assume that they'd be rebranded to & referred to as Crowns Esports Club as well.
I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting your sentence about Publiclir getting renamed but it's just for their eSports teams from the look of it - like how Logitech is distinguished from Logitech G / Gaming, but they're still the same company.

I dunno why esports teams are just now realizing how traditional sports teams have the right idea when it comes to branding, but I am 100% all for it
that logo looks gorgeous
