with the increased focus valve has on actually balancing their weapons it will be interesting to see how they balance these weapons
i just hope they don't do something stupid like give pyro a flamethrower that just airblasts or something
If it's like the last WAR update, it has to be something that works for both of them. My bet would be a secondary as they both have the capabilities for a shotgun and a primary for both of them would be stupid at best and game breaking at worst. Melee is anything goes, but a secondary would make more sense.

We were talking about this a while back, I think this isn't a far off theory as much hype as a Class vs. Class update (regardless of how we as a majority might feel about them) could bring to the general masses.

This is the main reason i think instead of it being a general war it will very specifically have heavy/pyro focus. b4nny speaks as though he's familiar with the pyrovheavy leak, which would imply that it is indeed the intention

AlmieThis forum is becoming too much of a pyro/heavy hating circlejerk. I get it, you won't see them in your beloved 6v6 99% of the time and if you did, they would make the experience worse, so they're irrelevant to you. Doesn't change the fact that they are a part of the game, and TF2 wouldn't be what it is without them. And with the competitive update coming, it's likely you will see some pubbers trying out matchmaking and playing pyro and heavy all the time because it's their favorite class. And if you get all condescending about how pyro and heavy is cancer, you will discourage them from competitive.
(plus who knows, maybe the rebalances in this update will make pyro and heavy have their place in competitive too, you never know)
a scout on my team mains sniper/plays it a lot and i see her playing heavy more than sniper lmao (defending blands mid ect viable fat russian AA gun)
