if i take some of the customization files from the m0rehud download (i.e. health cross, smaller font) and put them into m0rehud black, it should work, right? i like m0rehud's customizations but i prefer the m0rehud black main menu

edit: nevermind, i just took m0rehud black's main menu and inserted it into m0rehud along with mainmenuoverride.res and adjusted some values

that did it thanks. i thought that was just like a readme.txt type of file, are these required in huds now after the update? if so how come

those files tell TF2 what version of TF2 the HUD is supposed to be compatible with. this is there so that TF2 won't try to load HUDs meant for older versions because they'll probably fuck up.

it's idiot proofing.

To everyone getting problems like hud not appering/getting the base hud instead etc... you are probably not installing it correctly. I'll make a quick guide of how to install them later.

What files would I need to update so this hud is the same as it is now but with the new button opening the new menu for matchmaking? (Currently works in game fine)
