ZzZomboCan you add back Spy's disguise display, please? The reason I ask is because I play with my world model used instead of view models, and w/o that it's hard to know your cloak state precisely.

It sounds like he might be talking about the 2D/3D playermodels that show what class your playing (and what you're disguised as), but as far as I can tell from GitHub, flatHUD still has those enabled. So I don't know.

Hey there, I really enjoy this HUD since I found it but...I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I'm just pretty dumb but sometimes whenever I want to play MvM it happen that those "Game in Process [rejoin] [leave]" message comes up and I just can't do anything agains it. But as soon as I close TF2 and reopen it this message doesn't show up. (well at least for the first round mvm as soon I look for a new game it shows up again)
So pls tell me, is it kind of a bug or is there any opion I haven't found yet to avoid it?

(P.S. It doesn't matter if the box [Join Game in process] is ticked or not)

Oh, just had another look at it. It seems that the 2D model is removed using "alpha" "0". It also seems that it is also animated in the Spy Disguise flash animation (which imo is really obnoxious), although it's commented out so it's not currently an active animation. The strange thing is that it's the element PlayerStatusClassImage that's being animated when in the default animations the animated element is SpyImage and SpyOutlineImage. I don't know if this is intentional. It very well might be. I'm only judging it on the code, not the actual in-game functionality.

It looks like the 3D model should still be there, though, if you have that in-game setting enabled.

In any case, it seems like a shame to sacrifice the 2D model option for a disguise animation that's disabled by default.

Again, I'm only looking at the code. I'm sorry if I'm just very wrong on this.

literally cannot remember the last time i even used the 2d model. why aren't you using 3d models? they're way better and do like nothing to your fps

I was under the impression that it had like a 3% fps decrease or something. Maybe that was true at some point and they improved performance since then, I don't know. From Comanglia's config

It's your HUD of course. It doesn't have to appeal to everyone, and sometimes sacrifices have to be made to include specialized features. Like horizontal health bars butchering the overheal cross.

EDIT: accessibility is usually a good thing, though.

Can you readd the level number to Engineer's HUD? I can't know when my stuff was upgraded by fellow engineers, or what level is my teleporter sapped by Red-Tape recorder easily.

Ihad the same problem though i dont think its HUD related. Also usually it only occurs when youre in a lobby and accept an invite or something, the game still asks you to leave your current lobby but also puts you into the new lobby thus messing some things up ;) Sorry if this doesnt really belong here

Do I miss something or there is no difference between the Target ID panel for allies and enemies? As a Spy it's hard to see who's hiding in a dark corner. Can it be made like the default, that has colored background telling whether the target is an ally?

flathud has been updated to fix the damagedplayer lag bug (as described by sigsegv here). additionally, the mm panels at the end of a round have been properly stylized, and tournament elements have been removed from casual/MM pregame readymodes.

The one 200 posted doesnt work at all, the main menu is completely fucked. I deleted a few more res files from my hud and i got it to work and not crash when you click "find a game". The experience meter is still kinda fucked and the contract text looks ugly as shit but it works. I cant be arsed to tinker with it more, if you want my version here you go

Thanks to Hypnotize, the HUD has been fully updated and should work in the current version of TF2. I don't plan to keep maintaining it, but I will make/merge fixes from Hypnotize if TF2 ever updates again (lol).
