tbh rescue ranger would be perfectly fine if you couldn't bring your gun into spawn (make it blow up like it used to)

but yea rescue ranger/cow mangler will probably see full time use

beggars for niche purposes (mid double bombs?)

i also think loch n load is a bigger problem than people realize, i remember when it was briefly allowed in hl jarrett would get like equal damage on the loch vs. his sticks

now granted you have slow ass classes in hl but i think the benefit of hitting scouts more reliably in 6's makes it more useful than stock

Loch n' Load is probably gonna be the meta so gunslinger is no problem ever.

As someone who used the gunslinger in 6s since the new aids whitelist I can 100% confirm that this is not the case at all. Minis are great to deny sacks and as an alarm system to scouts trying to run behind. If you try to use it to take time off ubers/get frags you are doing it wrong

Also, the entire "Switch loadouts to counter specific loadouts" is a really boring game concept and saying "but now the loch'n'load counters rescue ranger engies" doesn't justify all this stuff getting unbanned.

Max_The extra speed makes pipes easier to hit at close, medium and long range; hitting more pipes is always good. And because of how projectiles work Loch pipes travel even farther than normal, rollers are also overrated and not as good as people think they are

All I was saying was that personally I feel that since I'm already very consistent with regular pipes, I prefer to have the extra pipe + roller zoning, but if demos feel more confident with the faster pipe speed then it's just as good/better than normal pipes. I don't feel it's as much of a direct upgrade as more of a sidegrade.

i like that we have a lot of viable options now but honestly i can't see very much changing in terms of whats being used unless its to counter very specific things (don't be shocked to see lesser prem teams running mini sentries to stop stark flanking) you'll probably see some people running mangler but it nerfs you for last pushes if the other team has a sentry so it will be run a lot less than regular rockets and the loch and load gives you more potential to defend yourself against scouts as a demo but less potential damage output so i can't see much changing
