Help with internet

So for as long as I can remember I've had internet issues. About a year ago when I decided to find the source I discovered it's most likely a bandwidth issue as I use wifi. I know this because whenever I run youtube on my phone ping in the greatest game of all time tf2 is high. My question is will getting a good quality ethernet cable be a solution to my problem? I'm only 16 so if anybody who is knowledgeable in networks could answer my problem that'd be great. Thanks guys.

Ethernet fixes most issues. If your ping is going up because of your phone usage it probably means you have a really slow wifi speed. I'd either ask your parents to fork some money over for an upgrade or just not use your phone when you're playing

Thanks for the response appreciate it. Problem isn't my phone during playtime that's just how I know. It's my fuck Boi of a brother Netflix and chilling everyday.
