I think my first actual match was in TWL or CEVO when they were both still serious leagues (CEVO before it died and was reborn). Not sure what map I played, team I was on or played against but I remember doing particularly well and was pretty happy about it.

I don't remember my first actual match, but one of my first was STA 8's on dom_canalzone, #university vs mathackers. We barely managed to win, 100% to 99%

After a few matches a few of the people on the team and myself realized how shitty and pointless being in a community clan was and left and made our own clan for the next season. My first cevo match I didn't really care much about, but I remember my first ESEA match very well. I had been looking forward to it for weeks. I had just paid my fees the day before and my entire team was ready to go. We had scrimmed the team we were gonna play a day before schedules were released and rolled them 5-0. We were all very confident going into our match, but come match night our demo was no where to be found. So we quickly grabbed the backup on our roster and paid him, but found out he doesn't know demo. I offer to play demo, but that was a mistake. We go into the game and win the first round post-haste trying to end it quickly, but the tide had turned. During our second push I had trapped the door, the combo was running over to Z to uber in. I told them I would follow up. They call for the push, I open the door and see stickies on the ground, I back up and det my stickies to push his away, but it wasn't far enough. We lost 5 rounds quickly after that. GG.

I just had my first UGC HL Steel match on Lakeside not too long ago. Somehow through a strange turn of events involving messed up servers and ringer shenanigans, I ended up having to play Soldier rather than my main (Engineer). And somehow we ended up not only winning, but rolling the other team without losing a round.

Went way differently than I expected my first official match to go, but hey, I had fun and got a med drop :>.
