Played Xbox version with my friend Jordan. We farmed achievements on Granary. We were taking turns headshotting each other. He takes a while to respawn and I thought he went afk or something and then he backstabbed me.
played at my cousins house back in like 2009 on turbine as scout and i found a demomans fro on my first death. needless to say thats when i found out how awesome demoman is
I probably have 100 hours on achievement idle servers
I bought the orange box on release for Xbox 360(mainly for portal) and me and my friends all ended up doing heavy boxing on 2fort

My earliest memory is finding a dead ringer while playing on pl_whalerace and deleting it because I thought it was broken
i got a kill with the pistol on gravelpit and i got really excited
played the developers commentary on hydro and was confused because i couldnt find anyone to shoot at
Orange Box on Xbox 360, then I got a mac and spent weeks trying to figure out how to play on a mac with a 360 controller.
My friend made me get tf2 because I had a Mac and he wanted me to give him earbuds...
I played special delivery my first 150 hours and thought it was fun. still don't know why people hate that map...
I bought Orange Box early 2010 but I was really scared to launch it because it was an online game. One of my IRL friends persuaded me to play with them and my first server ever was a MBM all-crit low grav server. This was all I played because I thought it was the normal game for the longest time. I don't think I've ever joined a normal pub until ~1 month before I joined competitive.
idk i started playing and then in one of my pubs was this dude who i added cuz i thought he was really good and then he turned out to win iron highlander that season so i was like hell yeah im playing competitive then i've been really bad ever since
i remember playing heavy on coldfront
it was around the black box update

I was a medic on 2fort. The game ran at 20 fps on lowest settings on my geforce 6200.
I remember playing 10 fps heavy on a laptop guarding a teleporter
back in like 2009 my best friend introduced me to the game by letting me try to rocket jump on sawmill
hilarity ensued but i bought the game the day after

Actual TF2 around the time of MvM's release.
Needless to say I sucked hard at both

Earliest memory I have of tf2 is when I was looking for a new game to play and found it on MMOHut's website claiming it was the best "even better than call of duty" & at the time I was a huge nerd for Call of Duty and was sitting there in disbelief that something was even remotely as good as it.
Downloaded tf2, fell in love, never really played any console games after that and mainly went on crit servers since my old laptop could only do like 15fps on regular pubs at the time.

1st September 2008, irl friends wanted to play comp and convinced me to get it. I just liked playing pyro :D
Dont regret it one bit

i had watched some star and jerma videos so i knew some about the game beforehand
I went over to a friends house with the specific purpose of playing tf2.
I joined a random server in the browser and ended up on surf_utopia with the jail arena thing if u messed up. Ofc i had no idea what surfing was so i was really confused but when i fell off and spawned in the arena I was happy. I was playing huntsman sniper (I saw it in star videos and wanted to try it). 4th or 5th life I managed to get a SICK BLIND PREDICTION ARROW and NAILED A SCOUT TO A WALL. It was 95% luck but it absolutely hooked me on the game.
