...what would you do?
We all know that the TF2 tutorial isn't...up to date to say the least, and while I know this may seem like an obvious answer, I would still like to strike up a conversation in order to further establish myself in this community (mostly to redeem myself for those "sick" memes that I created in the hud modifications thread :P) and I look forward to seeing what the people here have to say (even the bad comments...)
-peace!

Well for one thing there should be a section where you use can every single unlockable weapon against AI. Just have it put you in 5-10 second scenarios where you use the weapon to its full advantage, ex., fully load a beggars and walk around a corner to unload into 3 scouts. Give it a GTA-style "repeat mission" until you kill the bastards.
But holy fuck, let's just go down the list of hidden mechanics that new players have almost no way of discovering without going out of their way to learn.
1. Crit heals
2. Uber building
3. Damage falloff
4. Surfing explosives
5. Air strafing
6. Heavy damage ramp up
7. Sentry damage resistance
8. Capping points and changing spawn timers
9. Cap bonus limits (ie, payloads can only move at x3 max)
10. Uber flashing reducing uber times
11. Spy's invisible damage resist
12. Jump denial

whatever they end up adding they should add being able to get an un-tradable hat drop when you complete each tutorial so that people actually try and finish every tutorial

Adding all of the classes maybe? that would be a good start.

Maybe some stuff about class counters and all that so people don't run 5 spies against pyros

This shouldn't even be part of the tutorial. It should just be default.

It's so stupid that i found out about rocket jumping, one of the most fun and basic mechanics in the game from a ster video.
The tutorial should also mention jump maps and community servers
