It's almost as if epic and uubrs played off opportunities created by the team and we all take collective credit.

But people love to shit on Muuki so we have fun praising him because he actually did a lot for us and deserves it to make up for all the crap he's been given over the season.

I mean it's almost as if people didn't want to scrim us because they underestimated us and thought we were playing as a joke instead of actually being a threat, really makes you think :thinking:

What? Opportunities created by "the team" aka uubers killing 1 or 2 players on his own somewhere, or mr epic just destroying everyone? Those opportunities?

Muuki got some med picks or some retarded killstreak sometimes, but like thats normal, everyone only sees it because he was on a stupid class :D.

I'm not saying he was completely useless, yh a heavy or engy can sometimes help you, but most of the time if there was a roamer you could have won it so much more easily..

I dont hate Muuki or any of you I just think people should credit uubers and mr epic more.

Yeah tbh uubers & mr. epic are insane, these "flex" classes are OK but I think vs. even higher skill levelled teams it's not really going to make much of a difference.

Muuki does not get carried, his job as Flex role is to replace roamer, roamers have different styles in "accepted meta" of TF2, which includes being the player to "hold flank" or "get picks" which is what he does. If he goes 13-21 or something, that's exactly what Drackk does on Crowns whilst his Scouts/Demo/Pocket are getting amazing statistics. I didn't think I needed to explain the game to a Premiership level player, but I am glad we can clear this up and move forward. :)

And best thing about Mr Epic and Uubers, is NO TEAM wanted to pick them up before start of the season now suddenly they're "Monsters". We always knew they were but people didn't like them because "they don't communicate" even though Pastniek is doing the maincall on our team and Mr Epic does not need to cal anything, I played with Russian scout Yangpie and he said very little yet our team went from shit to good in a week. :Thinking

Every decent TF2 players acknowledge that uuber et mr.epic have really strong dm abilities, this having a even bigger impact considering the current state of high where the level has decreased dm-wise. They're not "suddenly monsters", for example everyone praised mr.epic after his season in prem with B5 even though the team had a poor season.

The thing is, take off Muuki and have another decent roamer, you'd probably sill have won high. Take off uubers et mr.epic, and you surely wouldn't have. Muuki probably had a good impact, im not denying anything he may have brought to the team, and in the end he brought something refreshing to 6s, but you cant compare his impact on your results and uubers and mr.epic's input.

drackk will still get around 250+ dpm whereas muuki gets around 160

I think the big thing that a lot of people are missing here, is that lowpander are playing for fun. It's not like muuki isn't a perfectly capable soldier or anything.

and unless people think highpander are sandbagging (which is a fair thing to think I guess, it's not like they knew they'd be capable for prem with a full time offclasser at the start of the season though imo), it's not like they're 'griefing'. They still played seriously and came up with strats for a particular style

Pretty sure given the current state of the game that's a prem team (easy to say now obviously...), running some offclasses versus the roamer isn't that big a handicap. Probably wouldn't have worked out a year ago

Wtf? I already told you, uubers and mr epic destroy everything, you dont need a roamer most of the time because their flank is always dead. And most roamers dont go negative, only when theres a lot of stalemates but usually they have positive k/d, and more then 160 da/m....

I, and probably other didnt know uubers was lft, but last season we wanted (secret didnt happen project) to trial mr epic but he wasnt available for like a few weeks. Everyone always knew mr epic had good dm, probably better then most in prem. I'm saying they carry ur ass because u play in high.. in prem they would play against people with the same dm and they cant just +forward dming....

On any other team you wouldnt get mad that a team won because some of the players were better than the others (if lemmings won people wouldn't complain about CYKAZ, for example). Also, a soldier would usually hold the flank by putting damage on the enemy team, an engineer or heavy would hold a flank by being there.

A heavy cant hold a flank, he would just get rushed by roamer + scout, he can only play heavy with a medic
And engineer neither, you need a spam class otherwise you do less damage vs the flank and they rush you

If the heavy or the engie held with a bit of distance and highground, 1 scout and solly wouldn't win that, because the heavy and engie do more damage at range.

Hmm, solly who can shoot around the corner and hit 80 damage shots on heavy, while the heavy just sits there doing 5 damage every 2 seconds to the solly? Yeah seems like heavy would win that xD, or let me just run behind as scout while you do 30 damage to me because you are too far away to stop me....

Every player in the team has a different role, and if you put a different player to a spot, it would change the dynamics of the team. There are always players who stand out more than others - for different reasons - it can be skill, damage done, or just the role they have. The other players in the team know the value of their team mates - that should be the only thing that matters. Nobody is taking credit away from anyone in this team, they're all great players individually, and put together they melt into an awesome, FUN team!

They're also playing TF2, in ETF2L high - not Dota2 in TI6. It *should* be fun and entertaining, not serious, blood thirsty grinding, for the players as well as the spectators.

If y'all have watched and listened to these guys' comms, you know they're not only having a ball, it's sometimes exhilaratingly fun for them - which in itself is way more important than, say, winning the video game. Why play in the first place if it's not for fun?
