So with the platform, there is a bug that says that there is still x minutes to connect, but if you don't connect within 3 or 4 minutes of the match going live it declares a FF. I will find out what is up with this for the next one.

[11:31 AM] Snivy: @FACEIT_Mikey the timer says it gives you 15 minutes to connect when it actually only gives you 5. any chance that this will be fixed?

I am going to be sending feedback to faceit because of a bunch of issues that happened that we should be able to fix without needing an admin.

can we have a team restriction of 32 teams next week instead of restricting teams to 16? or would that mess up the seeding.

I could do that. We would have to start a bit earlier, and I don't think we would cast the first few rounds. I also really want to have double elimination because I know how much it sucks to get rolled 5-0 in 10 minutes and be out of the tournament. Faceit really needs to fix/finish developing a few features because it would be way easier atm just to use free bracket/discord system.

se7en getting forfeited was due to a bug in the system where the website told them they had 15 minutes to join and the game forfeited them after five. If you really think they deserve to be knocked out for that I don't know what to say to you.

i do agree with you (and i wasnt aware of the bug) although im not saying they deserved to be knocked out but if it was us in their position it would've been different

you realize that's literally how seeding works right? You can't have a tournament where people are fairly matched at first because it means the good teams fight each other early then your grand finals will have the best team vs an open team. wouldn't it be better to have that scenario happen early in the tournament and save the good matches for last? that's also how literally any tournament is run in any sport...
