Wouldn't it be better to reduce the damage from rocket jumping so pockets can run shotty more often to deal with scouts.
Also #18 makes no sense. If you give gunboats to replace stickylauncher, how are you supposed to jump? with your grenades?

give soldier a 5th rocket and more natural self damage resistance (nerf gunboats to compensate for this change gunboats to maintain the same level of self damager)

nah that leads to the bootie problem where the best option for the team is both less fun and less skill based for the demoman. a direct nerf to sticky self damage would let pipes still be relevant and make demo more fun + skill based overall since jumping becomes more important. the real question is what kinda change works best?
multiple stickies should still do full damage cause you probably dont want demos sitting on top of triple sticky traps risk free
imo the best bet would be make sticky self-damage ramp up similar to normal sticky damage. Start with something like -50% current damage on a frame perfect sticky timing and ramp up to full after a second or two
