Euros are playing Obscure because byte designed it and he's very influential. He kinda forced the map to be played and adopted.

the map seems so big, even when we played it for highlander. It's like two granaries mashed together.
one of those maps where the maker would have to completely remake the map for it to be some what decent. by that point you might as well just make a different map
now i haven't played it since the mayhem/beybladers thing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8gRotVnmFY) but when we did play it there were almost no chokes and it was so wide open

Croissant is a decent map. I honestly don't know what everyone is bitching about. Arnold is here, so if you have actual issues with Croissant maybe you should voice them instead of vaguely complaining about nothing in particular.
It's a well designed map but I think its main problems are that it's weak for HL because it's 5cp and it's weak in 6s because it's fucking huge. This is probably the only map that's best played in a 24man pub.

*Added small ammopack and health to the lower hallway leading to final cp
*Added medium ammopack below mid
*Added medium ammopack to the ridge around cp2
*Added medium ammopack below the bridge to cp2
*Reduced overal spawntimes a little
*Added possibility for scouts to jump up to cp2 from the left side (approaching)
*Added a route to the tunnel from bridge when defending cp2
*Added a route from lumber to below mid cp
*It is now possible to use the outside of the balcony looking out on water on mid to jump around
*Cut the sniper sightline from the back ridge of mid to choke leading to cp2
*Added fences around the ridge of mid to allow splash damage
*Added the possibility for scouts to jump from midhouse to portruding elevated rock formation leading to choke

Really pretty map but it can get really stalematey. (if thats even a word) The rollout for roamer is super fun if that's why you play certain maps like process, except process is a great map in general...
Croissants are fucking delicious, especially toasted with ham & cheese.
EDIT: didn't even read the thread. I'm an idiot.
Never played this map. Was always voted in at 3am Aussie pugs as a 'troll vote' by the usual suspects, and people always left when it happened.

Matches on Crossaint just take forever at times. I´ve seen a few Hl matches were its still 0-0 after like 20minutes, i think thats one of the reason why it isnt played that much.
from walking around the map it seems that whole passageway system thing on mid is far too claustrophobic
