15$ per LAN pass to plan on the side when PCs are available.
150$ per team (25$ per player) to register in the open event.

$25 per player including rental sounds like a decent price to me.

we got here at 9am.
first game was a BYE
waited around till like 3pm without a PC to sit on.
Then after our first game we were told we needed to give up the PCs quickly.
Sat around for an hour and no one went on the PCs.
Then get told we can go back on the PCs to play our next 2 games.
open really should have been a round robin group or something on saturday and knockouts on sunday tbh

Only had 2 matches and they were over by like 4, the only issue was the constant moving of setups, combined with having to reinstall tf2 and other things a total of about 4 times.

Yeah. Especially when we had to wait like over half an hour for a team to retrieve all their stuff before we could play on it. Regardless, it was a fun event and I hope we can get more LANs like this in the future.

sounds like people were disappointed, but hey it's a LAN for TF2 so you gotta get what you can and I bet it's a good experience overall despite some mishaps

milo60hz in 2017....
Allegedly, they had ordered a bunch of 144hz monitors, but their shipment was delayed. On Friday, the invite teams were scrimming with 60hz, but by Saturday they cracked open enough new ones for the invite matches.
