how are you guys going with the documentary?
#90 Nope.
#91 It's chugging along, we have a few work-in-process sequences. I'm happy with the way it's shaping up so far, but there's a long way to go.

what is the current status on dreamhack
can I, in any way help making dreamhack tf2 happen?

If Sal and eXtine were not around the last 2 ESEA LANs and i46 would have most likly not happened. Thank you Sal and eXtine for promoting tf2! The tf2 community appreciates it!
The status on Dreamhack at the moment is "I don't know if anything's actually being done." The people I'm talking to right now are either a) not copying me on their communications to DH and sponsors or b) not having those communications. Certain parties also won't share any of their contact information for Dreamhack officials and employees.
If you want to help, do you have any contacts among the DH staff?
#93 Yup, i46 documentary. That's what the eXtv staff were attending for.

They do. That's who I'm talking about. I don't see a lot happening on their end.
I've only been copied on one email. I've seen promises to get contact information and other stuff, but none of those promises have produced anything yet. It's understandable that these guys may be busy, but if they are, they need to circle other folks into the discussions, provide a roadmap for getting TF2 to DH, and make sure the work actually gets done. If it's happening at all, I simply don't see it.
EDIT: I posted this from work, where I couldn't see skype. Some contact details have been shared today, and I just found out about it.

Hey Sal,
It is the Starcraft 2 guy - we met at i46 and talked a lot over the weekend with Hannah (the blonde girl who everyone signed her Valve poster after the tf2 finals). If you, Airon, Lucky Luke etc want to stay in touch with either of us then you can get my steam page up via my profile. If not then it was great meeting you all, hope to meet again at i49.
Also, if I ever end up on camera again.. we should aim to do it as early into the weekend as possible when I have something other than pure adrenaline keeping me awake/alive :). Might have actually said something useful for the documentary other than "AWESOME" to every question.. if only it was as fluent as that night at the bus stop where we did all of those questions in a casual conversation. Don't know how you guys manage to keep going all weekend.
Best wishes
PS: I started playing 'competitive' tf2 after i46. Very fun!

To what extent does having a good cameraman have an effect on the quality of a cast? What is the proper mix between first person and third person action throughout a cast? What is the single most important thing for producing a very enjoyable cast for people to watch?
