sibbyowlcometthat pain that you get when one of your family members pass away. it never truly leaves you and it honestly is something i'd never wish on another person. it's really sad tbh when people say shit like i hope your family dies etc. that shit never leaves you.
i feel ya - my uncle succumbed to cancer back in december 2015. seeing him on his deathbed was the most tragic sight to ever befall my eyes ;-;

Having an hour-long haircut with a barber pressing down my head for the entirety of that time. I just wanted to jump out of my seat near the end of it.

i had a tick on my balls when i was young and it had been on for a while so i went to the emergency room cuz i couldn't get it off and they decided the best course of action to get it off was a red-hot needle. AND THE NURSE MISSED.

fuck does getting them off hurt as much as getting them on? that pain was pretty horrible, it was just that it was always there, literally if you step a little too hard or something and your teeth touch your whole head just goes insane for a couple seconds. getting mine off in a couple months i really hope it doesnt hurt as much as the first couple weeks having them on... ate pretty much exclusively mashed potatos that whole time and even that hurt
worst pain i can remember i think is falling while playing handball in grade 7 or so and landing straight on both kneecaps, i couldnt even stand for the rest of the recess my legs were shaking so much and couldnt walk properly for a couple months. also had 2 cups boiling water poured on my chest when i was really young, and also wisdom teeth removal with no anesthetic, felt like the dentist was gonna rip my jaw off

22 staples in my head, from getting hit in the head with a big tree branch, hurt so much i wanted to die, had to stay awake through it all, i screamed like a bitched. Also idk if anyone knows about medical staples but they arent like ones that come out of a normal stapler, like how i pictured them, but they are like ones that go in a staple gun, fucking thicc as fuck.

The worst pain I ever felt was when my puppy passed away in October (Halloween, actually) of last year. I was her sole owner for 12 years up to that point, and I held her in my arms when she was put down -- and when it happened i felt this unique, yet intense physical pain in my temples that I have never once felt before or since then. The November afterwards was one of the most difficult times in my young life, and I am blessed to have had friends, both online and not, to help me through it. She was my best friend and my shining light of guidance, and it has been at times difficult to replicate the happiness she once gave me. I don't think until I die that I'll forget about her, and even through I am getting a new dog she remains central to my heart. She was born on April 7th 2005, and was with me from start to finish. Her name was Angel, and in my mind that seems more true a descriptor now than it ever was.

I was getting my tetanus vaccination at the doctor's one afternoon, the actual shot part went fine. For some reason I passed out as I was leaving through the lobby and fell face-first onto the floor. I had a pretty ugly gash open under my chin. I remember feeling a dull pain from it when I came to, but the real painful part was when they were applying anesthetic. They did it with a needle and basically just injected it in the open gash, it was actually brutal and I can remember those moments extremely clearly even like 6 years later. Afterwards it was fine, I think it took 7(?) stitches to close my chin up. I didn't end up with a scar which was cool ig.
Another contender was when I sunburned so bad I ended up with second degree burns across most of my back. I was a really pale kid and was having a bit too much fun swimming lol. Around the point where I could comfortably wear a shirt again I met w/ one of my mom's friends who gave me a pat on my back asking how I had been. Needless to say I doubled over and vomited. The poor lady felt horrible :c
Another burn story as well- my grandparents, brother, and I had decided to go fishing. I was a little kid so i got bored fishing and ran around. I ended up tripping and my hand fell into an old makeshift fire-ring that was already put out before we got there. My hand hurt really bad, but my grandparents didn't believe me and thought I was just being overly dramatic- they stuck their own hand in and didn't feel any heat in what they thought was a completely extinguished fire-ring. Turns out my hand must've hit a coal, because after I woke up being told to go to bed and ignore the "pain", my left hand was pretty much covered in blisters. One surprise visit to the doctors office later and I discovered I had to wrap my entire hand in gauze for like 3 weeks while it healed. I still hold a grudge for them not believing me.

Fell out of the bed during sex, somehow I hit my head and elbowed my balls simultaneously.

When I was around 7 or 8 I smashed my big toe and the nail came off, and the very same day as I was leaning on my grandma's car to catch my balance because I could only put weight on my other foot, she slammed the car door on my fingers by mistake. It was not a fun day.

Broken elbow on the side towards your belly or some kind of knee twist that happen a few years ago while playing hockey. Different types of pain but elbow was probably the worst

I dislocated my knee and had to sit there while waiting for the ambulance to arrive (10-20 minutes). While they were loading me onto the stretcher, my knee 'popped' back into position.

I completely fucking destroyed my knee when I was a kid, like the bone would basically come out and it didn't heal for a month or two
Now the scar is nearly gone but it really was ugly as fuck
Oh yeah I also took a tennis smash right in the eye

mental - mother dying
physical - tbh i have been pretty lucky when it comes to physical pain, i've never broken a bone or had to be bedridden or surgery / etc. the only time ive been to the hospital the past like 6 years is a few stitches and came home the next day. but when i was 4 i remember this very vividly : me being a dumbass saw the iron my mom just used on her clothes and thought "hey im going to play with this" and i put my entire hand on it for probably a full 2 seconds. and somehow i think right after this i told my mom that my hand was burning but she was cooking and i put my hand on the surface of the stove to show her what i did, not realizing the stove was on, burning my hand on both sides. i had a giant cloth bandage around it for a week
bonus : yesterday i visited my great grandpa from my mothers side who is slowly dying due to complications at a hospital he was taken at. when we visited him he was coughing a lot and asked us where my mom was. luckily i think it was because of his poor vision (he couldnt tell who we were right away) instead of dementia, but that moment made me pretty sad

Pneumotorax (lung collapse)
you can barely do short breathes and if you take too much air in it hurts like hell from the loose air in your chest

a piece of plastic/metal getting pushed up there with zero pain meds is not fun, but it's better then a baby coming out tbh
