- Improvements to the flame particles. Might make flames look differently and will look very goofy until we get used to it
- Pyro is rewarded for reflecting (something like the "new" heal for extinguishing). ammo gain on reflect damage?

- Detonator no longer deals a ton of damage to yourself. You will have an additional opportunity to fail a gap jump
- Buffs to the Rift weapons (vulcano fragment and sun-on-a-stick). Still never used.

He already gets like 700 rewards for reflecting, such as not receiving damage, dealing minicrits, and knocking people into the air for his stupid crit autism

- Airblast will lose the stunlock entirely
- Flame particles will be made smaller to require more aim but their travel path will make aiming really weird
- Reserve shooter will be nerfed but still OP
- New secondary for pyro turns out to be inferior to the shotgun like everything else
- matchmaking will get improvements on the technical side but still have no class limits
- some good nerfs to OP weapons will happen but one random weapon will be buffed to OP-ness for no reason, taking bets on which one

With how long this "Pyro update" has been 'delayed' or hoped for, since the Pyro vs Heavy Campaign, I'm fairly certain Pyro is getting a whole lot of analysis from the developers and from other feedback being provided that will lead to balances in the way flames register, airblasts register, weapon changes that give risk/reward mechanics to Pyros that can punish them for being very strong flank classes.
With how long this "Pyro update" has been 'delayed' or hoped for, since the Pyro vs Heavy Campaign, I'm fairly certain Pyro is getting a whole lot of analysis from the developers and from other feedback being provided that will lead to balances in the way flames register, airblasts register, weapon changes that give risk/reward mechanics to Pyros that can punish them for being very strong flank classes.
