I wish there was atleast a mod or even in the settings, to bring some of the things in the video back. I would much prefer my game to look better, and my weapons shinier than the trash black all the weapons are now.

that's the path almost all software projects follow sadly. Instead of fixing the code properly, just shoehorn new features and make quick and dirty fixes..

It was added in 2008 if I recall. The original grenade launcher also had 6 shots if I recall, but the video shows only 4 being fired. (the grenade change was made during beta nvm)

I don't think Crowbcat was in a position to complain how the nuances of the base jumper make it op. Maybe he could have included something about adding a jar of urine into the game though.

sort of a dumb video. Valve fucked up but they fucked up because they didn't know the game would be supported for so long, be so loved, and have 600+ updates. Games as a services was a new idea when tf2 launched.
