I'll leave you with this though, your MGE rating doesn't mean shit, and the only thing you take with you when the map changes on a DM server is any small improvement you might have made. It doesn't matter how many frags you count by bombing snipers on gully door if you still bomb the pocket at overhang and give up a free frag for 80 damage. If you want to practice against gunboats soldiers who can't aim as soon as their feet touches the ground, and demos that want to artificially inflate their health by playing with targe, no one is stopping you from continuing to play in the circus that is eXtv dm.

Sticky limit is a good way to reduce the spamminess of the class and force demos to think about sticky placement. No sniper is a good thing since even if they just get headshots, they're not honing a skill as much as being an annoyance. No gunboats is a great thing, since bombing has NOTHING to do with dm, it's timing, almost entirely. No direct hit is good news for scouts. And market gardener, you're not gonna use that seriously, so stop using it in DM.

Is there some way to adjust the SOAP spawns so Granary and Badlands (and maybe Snakewater?) spawn you consistently on the midpoint instead of second / yard? Turbine mid is approximately as big as Granary and there's enough space for spawns, and it's one of the best DM maps there is in my opinion. And Badlands / Snakewater are even bigger.

How does this make any sense at all?

because scouts getting 1 shot killed isnt very fun

getting constantly bombed by soldiers waiting for scouts to get into 1v1s or spammed by morons who never leave the crates isnt fun either but apparently thats wayyy more conducive to a good dm environment then one guy using a rocket launcher with no splash

i think the one hit kill argument isnt good enough because of the instant respawns ands because it only happens at point blank

If you use a banned item for demo secondary apparently you get all the 8 stickys again. Saw somebody complain about it on the server

Yeah, I'm getting a few reports with banned weapon attributes getting tacked on when the item is banned. I'm looking into this issue now

If we're going to remove Granary by any chance, can we replace it with Follower mid or Obscure mid? Since there aren't any snipers, I don't see why not.

2 stickies per clip is ridiculous btw, impossible to train them with it like that. You should keep it to only allowing 2 out at a time, but give demos more stickies to spam.

I agree, I think keep the 2 out limit and increase the clip to 4. And I almost never play demo in dm.

It makes sense since they're rarely getting pressure hanging out in the back of the current arena. No spam to avoid until somebody notices you and inevitably kills you.

on Dallas DM since the festive sticky is blocked it automatically equips the stock (duh) and gives me an 8 sticky limit

I have the festive sticky unblocked I thought. Anyways, for the weapons equipping and either keeping or reverting attributes I think it might be a plugin based issue that will be out my control. I'd have to keep looking at my options though to see if I can fix this or not

Let's just ban everything. Demo is a stupid no-skill spam class anyways and has no purpose in DM (just like practicing headshots is not a skill either) so he's out. Pistol is for pussies and euros, so it's banned. Gunboats and targe and snipers and direct hit are never used in real matches so we should definitely ban them. Soldiers getting 4 rockets is pretty BS, especially when they get instant reload after a kill. Better limit that to two. Pretty soon we'll be in paradise, where soldiers just stand on the ground and shoot rockets at each other and scouts fight only 1v1s. Is there a plugin that makes scattergun do nothing if it hits someone in the back?

You can practice anything on other servers.
