why is it that i always see the prem euro soldiers hitting like the fucking nuttiest skybox airshots, while it is very rare to see such nutty airshots in na invite. similarly, the prem euro sniper offclassers are always hitting like the vac headshots, they walk into last, or jump through choke, or surf a rocket into the enemy team and headshot the med. I never see that shit happen in na invite. I don't get it
for some soldiers, just look at kaptain, silentees, AMS, and more
for some snipers just look at thalash, starkie, marros, and more

well this is really easy, na players can kill snipers in the time it takes for them to stroll right up to ur med and scope in on their head and eu players cant.

Ninlopinteresting stuff, didn't quite think about snipers but soldiers i've always felt have a better understanding of the game than americans, however this seems to be a similar case for other games too, like counter strike has a history of strong euro players that just understand the game to a higher degree than americans, can someone with more knowledge on this as a whole drop some insight, i remember Nyk telling me bout this topic of euros doing better but it was such a long time ago i just cant remember it in detail
ya euros are are a lot better at cs than the americans, thats for sure

I think Europeans on average tend to play on lower ping (not true for Scandinavians I know) whereas many NA west coast or Canadian players rarely see below 70 ping and ESEA servers seem to add 20 for no good reason. And of course the inverse when east coasters have to play on a the occasional Dallas or Colorado server. This might account for some of this phenomenon if there is any truth to it at all.

go back in time to every era of tf2 and its the same

because etf2l doesn't have anticheat so these PROFESSIONAL players are allowed to have projectile rocket aimbot prediction hakcs.
It's because we kiss each other on the cheek as a greeting.

EU sollys not having A or D keys was a meme for the longest time for a reason. NA has had some of the strongest sollys in the game, its just within the last year or two with everyone quitting that the skill level has really fallen off.

americans dont protect their sniper offclass properly or coordinate with them at all
This is the most common European keyboard layout.

euros cant airstrafe. thats the meme back in the day
I feel like Europeans get a lot more opportunities to hit those nutty shots, if a euro were to play against NA players they wouldn't get as many chances to get cool frags
NA scouts are responsible for 80% of airshot stealing. Stop the madness. Call the hotline below to report any sightings of this criminal activity.

Yeah I'm gonna say it has to be with the ping. Most matches in NA are played on Chicago servers which is technically the best place for them so no one has abysmal ping, but also results in fewer people having good ping, as a lot of people live on the coasts or in Canada. Whereas the entirety of Europe is about as big as Texas, so it's easier to have better ping.
Usually by the time thalash, starkie or maros pops in to take a "vac shot" their teams already have 1-2 picks and they exploit that. Eu teams are usually pretty good at protecting a sniper and making room for the sniper. I cant compare it with na tf2 though. Havent watched a na game in 4 years
I guess eu soldiers mge more )))

EU Snipers really don't hit anything more spectacular than NA Snipers do but EU Snipers tend to focus on staying alive and be super annoying by just staying alive (the amount of maps that become 100x more frustrating to push because someone is on sniper is so damn high). NA Snipers don't really focus on staying alive a lot and tend to use it as just a pick class, not as anything super annoying. They usually risk being in caught out positions more on the off chance they can catch out a medic or anything else.
EU soldiers are pretty incredible though.

What is insomnia lan? Pretty sure eu snipers did the same to na teams.

there were NA soldiers to match the EU soldiers but there were simply more EU soldiers that were good

This makes a lot of sense especially considering that the EU rule set encourages playing slower when up rounds. No better way to play slower than with a class that can shut down entire lanes of movement with its existence.

I was beginning to think nobody was going to mention Europe's airstrafing deficiencies.
If NA is losing a lot of top level talent now it's something that EU suffered before i58 really. I think ESEA has helped NA retain some players it would otherwise have lost more quickly, but there's no holding back the tide forever.

Is there anything 5 ping can't be blamed for?
You still can't explain scandinavians though, they are mysteriously good at video games.
