eu soldiers (puke)
SetsulamplifierworshipI think Europeans on average tend to play on lower ping (not true for Scandinavians I know) whereas many NA west coast or Canadian players rarely see below 70 ping and ESEA servers seem to add 20 for no good reason. And of course the inverse when east coasters have to play on a the occasional Dallas or Colorado server. This might account for some of this phenomenon if there is any truth to it at all.Is there anything 5 ping can't be blamed for?
You still can't explain scandinavians though, they are mysteriously good at video games.

Stockholm servers
You can't have central europeans and scandinavians on 5 ping at the same time.
And to this day I have never played on a Stockholm server.

NA play super methodical, slow, extremely heal centric and only engage from far away. All you have to do really is spam from afar, dodge incoming spam and bait. It is a playstyle that only really works if you have a point lead and can afford not to push.
EU plays in a way that assumes that they are losing and need to bring the comeback. In that situation it becomes idiotic to play nice, clean and methodical, because if you're losing then it's because the enemy is better at it than you are. To break it you need to pull in the classes and playstyles that can reliably secure frags, thus big plays.

In what Universe would TLR have won this match if not for the flaming desire to win at all costs? Frankly, I think this makes for the best possible viewing experience.

"It's idiotic to play tf2 and make the correct decisions because if you lose the other team is better than you, instead you should just treat every game like a product pug and go for frags and air shots"
I mean, yeah that works but only if the other team isn't better at botting than you, not to mention your assessment of both scenes' being completely wrong.
Also, linking to a SDB frag clip to prove your point about... EU players wanting to win more?

most eu soldiers aim like spastics so for every crazy skybox airshot u see them hit they miss 5 easy ground rockets
and the ping thing

Literally the one team famous for playing the most slow, methodical game of tf2 in history and waiting for their enemy to take action was EU.

That would be nice to see a Nations LAN tbf

gotta be honest here but NA seems to be garbage at mge, and or not play as much of the mode as EU soldiers but then again, i am not from NA so who am i to comment on that.
in eu we have a guy called jaegerbot who tutors every solly in mge when they reach prem until they are gods

idk what it is but euro soldiers just go straight up when they surf damage
like lunacide and i watch mids on gully and granary and it looks like everybody has signed some pact that at LEAST 4 airshots must be hit so nobody hits their directional keys when theyre in the air
i noticed it when i played mixes and pcws too theres just some unspoken rule that if somebody is trying to airshot you, you let him go for it and dont do anything to dodge it ESPECIALLY if u juggle them with the first rocket
its really quite honorable and brave and i wish we had that over here
like of the handful of double airshots ive hit im pretty sure most have come from playing etf2l and tf2pickup
in na u get nerds like BLAZE who inspired the whole 'haha look im bombing u oh wait nope i landed on some stupid ledge that u have to direct me on o look haha im bombing u again SIKE haha woops i mashed that S key in the air the second u shot at me'
also obligatory having multiple players in the server with single digit ping comment

because were scared of hitlers ghost coming back to life and holocausting us for not doing good in tf2
I've never seen much of a difference between NA and EU as far as being able to consistently hit big airshots. The only difference really comes down to a few individual players who consistently gets highlights more than others. They are, off of the top of my head: AMS, Mike, b4nny and kouna. Hitscan classes not included.
BBiA_duchessLiterally the one team famous for playing the most slow, methodical game of tf2 in history and waiting for their enemy to take action was EU.
Which came as a response to NA winning two Insomnias in a row by playing in a more scout-centric "wait for them to come to you" playstyle. They copied NA's style and took it the extreme. They're memed about it so much because it goes against everything that is typical from EU.
