what's the point in having other games at tip of the HATS?
i understand trying to expand an all, but i'd rather watch 24 hours of an mlp trade server than overwatch

The same point of the whole event, to raise money for the kids. Sure, you may hate overwatch, but more people may tune in because of overwatch, especially if some of the guests are people from tf2 who may bring in a good chunk of overwatch followed due to their popularity in those games. I like that they're branching out in an effort to increase donations.

Any donation made before the medals are distributed (usually a few days after the event concludes) will receive a medal that correlates to the amount of money donated. The stream doesn't need to be live in order to qualify. Cash donations should open up roughly a week before the event starts.
