This is something I've noticed a lot lately, especially at lans for the first place teams. Like at rewind and i61, both the top soldiers of the first place teams used the original and b4nny also used the original.
I understand that the original shoots from the center of the screen instead of from the right side like stock, but I thought this just made it come down to preference. Can someone please educate me on why all these top players use the original? Is it for consistency or better spam angles or what?

Guys i just tested it in a pug, here is my analysis:

Original Theory
As you can see the original got 26 frags which was the 3rd most on the pug, however my damage is a little low. I would recommend using this weapon if your dpm is solid but you arent getting the frags you deserve. Clearly the original has more last hit potential but the base damage must be lower, its the only way i can explain myself not top damaging this pug.
