there are no alternatives that work as well as imessage and facetime for ios users. As someone who has spent the last two years of my life selling iphones and android devices to companies in large quantities 80% of the time people just want something that is convenient and works. I've gotten phones from every big company for free through advocacy programs and no video chatting app is as smooth and reliable as facetime and everybody knows normal mms/sms texts cant touch imessage. iphones are overpriced and oversimplified, but they work.

You realize the reason Snapchat is terrible is because the people who made it give's 0 shit's about Android phones. Has nothing to do with having a bad camera. Instead of using the actual camera it uses the preview image hence the "bad" quality

Go look at Google Pixel or Note 8 or LG V20 pictures and tell me the camera is shit
