Set goals for yourself everytime you play. short term & long term. Switch up how you're improving. 10 hours of mge a day sounds fun to some people, but won't make you a well rounded player. watch stv's, learn from the best and form good habits. Even watching demos of yourself can help. You can pick up on bad habits you may have formed, and it lets you look at things from a different perspepctive. "oh i was out of position here, now that i see it at this angle, i could have improved on this play by doing this..." etc

What part is unbearable? Scrimming, pugging, dming, mgeing, demo reviewing, all of the above..?
Look at TF2 as a journey, not a destination.
Although I'm still trash, I have improved a decent amount since I started playing comp, and I've had a blast the whole time.

This. I can look back on past teams and just laugh at some of the stuff we've done together, the improvement we've made, and the struggles we beat. Sure, there are low points, but keep on going with a goal in mind with good friends and you can work through it.
Just think, you can look back at old demos or casts and say "Wow, I used to be that terribad? Glad I stuck through it to be at where I am now."
