Anyone have benchmarks comparing felik's low end cfg to the standard one?
This looks awesome, but I have like 2 things that maybe you should consider adding:
Transparent Viewmodels, and the Surfaceproperties.txt that removes the dust from when feet hit the ground.
Also this is something i have in my config that you might also consider adding:
I turn on mat_filterlightmaps 1 in my autoexec, then turn it off in each of my class-specific configs to get the minecraft-esque lighting effect
Also if there were some easy way to install vtf crosshairs and use them with the crosshair switcher that would be awesome too

Surfaceproperties.txt is already there under "Custon files" tab.
There is no way I can add Transparent Viewmodels now and any time soon because it requires existing HUD editing. Assuming we have no idea what HUD does a player have (if there is any), we are unable to modify its files.
As for the vtf crosshairs, I'm not sure if I can make it work since as far as I know, crosshair switcher is using a bit different way to change crosshair. It may be possible, but that a lot of work and I'm not promising to make it soon.
I'm definitely going to add class-specific custom settings though.

You can now select minimal viewmodels in crosshairswitcher settings.

It's nothing. It's just sets stuff really low for integrated/low profile GPUs where you might be GPU limited.

Small update. The amount of developers has now increased to 3!
Huge thanks to maximsmol for reworking the majority of garbage "client-backend" code and configs. xiyzzc is still doing his best to make the site look better.
2.2.3 Update
- Class-specific settings. Set any binds for any class you want.
- Config preview zoom. You can now click on config preview images to look at all the details closely.
- More launch options. Added an optional select of -novid and -console.
- You can now select between resolution presets if you want to run the game in lower resolution.
- Added tips on how to disable flames for Pyro while using crosshair switcher.
- Reworked most of the configs to have more clean aliases and added more cvars (disabling annoying popups like when you run the game mode for the first time, etc.).
- Added cool big button instead of old little green button somewhere.
- Added fancy global overlay - every page of the site now has a spinning tf logo while loading. And it has the different color for each part of the site too!
- Improved the look of config repository, added a bit of configs (big thanks to flyingbuddy for providing a lot of Jasmine Tea players' custom stuff)
- Minor design tweaks
- Improved the look of server config generator. replaced boolean settings with "yes/no" instead of 1/0
- 200 commits hype!

crosshairswitcher doesnt change viewmodel fov from slot to slot just so you know
I recommend setting fps_max to any high value below 1000 because otherwise offline servers get all sorts of weird timing issues.

I still don't get how this works. This happened to me only when I had sv_cheats 1 on an offline server. fps_max didn't do anything with this issue at all (in my case)

A tiny but important update that made me suffer for several days.
2.2.5
- HUDs support. We now support several HUDs, more coming up very soon. This feature is in a kind of a beta state, it may slow down the progress bar so don't worry if you don't see the percentage.
- Fixed class changer throwing an error if no crosshair switcher selected
- Added medigun check script
- User input is now being saved, never loose your settings if you close the tab anymore! (may not work flawlessly for some fields). Use "Reset" button to return to defaults.
- Fixed hugs.tf and essentials.tf images pointing towards huds.tf (thanks Llewxamris).
SourceMod and Metamod support coming up next. We can now include a shitload of files so, basically every custom thing is now possible.

The Firefox hitsound bug is back and I have no idea how to fix it now. You can't pick hitsounds in Firefox, sorry guys. Will try to fix soon.
Your daily doze of updates:
2.3.0:
- Crosshair switcher now has crosshair previews.
- Added a missing option for default crosshairs.
- Option to force graphic features that configs usually let you enable by uncommenting (gibs, facial features, etc)
- More HUDs, very easy and fine looking previews provided by huds.tf (hopefully, this will not cause any problems).
- Improved visuals and performance.
- Fixed several typos, improved some text.
- The main page is now slightly more fancy.
- Saving feature is disabled now, it was too buggy, might be back in another form later.
- Updated no hats mod to the lastest version
If anyone knows how can I contact omni, please hit me up, we have something to discuss about huds.tf and hit.tf. He does not respond or ignores my friend request on purpose.
EDIT: If you want to see HUD previews, you might want to allow this page to display unsafe content (Chrome may block it for the first time, - don't worry, it's just huds.tf working via http instead of https.

It would be very cool if you could find a way to implement vtf crosshair customization since so many people stuggle doing it
also can you add the option to chose which no explosion scripts i want since i've seen 4 different kinds
explosions_pyro_pool.vpk
explosions_2colours.vpk

My config seems pretty watered down on this site, it's also out of date (2.3.3, current as of this post is 2.5.1).
Would be great if the config were to include all the customization available from the original versions.

I'm not sure if we can make customization options available. The site serves them as a single file and each file/config has a very large set of previews (see the update below). Adding customization options means redoing them over again and adding a very huge amount of images to represent in-game changes for each combination. We had to separate them into several packages. I will update your config very soon, I was really busy with other stuff happening. It would be very cool if you could make 3 sets of settings into a 3 corresponding files, just as shown at cfg.tf though. Anyway, expect an update on the site soon. And thanks for your hard work too )

Hey, maybe someone already mentioned this but the medicheck script isn't working because the command that is supposed to execute the script in class script documents are misspelt "medcheck" instead of "medicheck" so it is supposed to be "exec medicheck; orig_scout" instead of "exec medcheck; orig_scout"

Nope, I totally missed this. Thanks for the report, this should be fixed now (it may take up to 5 minutes to appear on the site, also, you might want to re-load the page with cache disabled).
There are actually a lot of bugs I should fix but I don't really have much time theese days.

Client config generator 2.6.1:
Try it out now!
- Added mastercomfig 6.3.0-b5 with the following presets and detailed descriptions: default, comp, compquality, maxperformance, maxquality, midquality, badgpu, stripped
- Removed Felik's config
- 322 new screenshots for old and new configs carefully taken by yours truly. Skin and killstreak effects previews.
- Updated nohats mod to the latest version, including headsfeet (thanks, xJeebsx!)
- Crosshair switcher customizer now has a “default” preset - no more setting all the crosshairs up one by one manually!
- Fixed native resolution detection that was always set to 1920:1080 by default.
- Default and “Bad connection” network settings were tweaked (thanks to mastercoms).
- Added “cl_smooth” field.
- Obscure “Competitive connection” was replaced by “133 tickrate connection” as requested by multiple people and essentials.tf.
Server generator update 1.0.1b:
- Temporarty removed Metamod and Sourcemod section that was not working properly
Other stuff:
- I’m working on the weapon-specific VMT crosshair generator. It is very close to the final state, but there is still some work to do. If you are familiar with crosshair replacement and willing to help, you can take a look at this list and check if everything is right there.
- Screenshot instructions. This can be used to take your own screenshots at the exact same position and with the same camera FOV as they present on the site.
- Promotional banners repository. Wanna help me to promote the site so more people could experience the joy of generating fine configs? Pick any of the following banners and use it on your site. Thanks.
As usual, please report any bugs and leave your suggestions here or in this thread.
If you still don’t know - we have a discord server where you can ask any config and site-related questions and talk to me directly. Come join us, there usually are some people hanging around willing to help newbies and maybe solve some of your problems! This is a good place to follow the updates and get up-to-date information about future ones.

[*] Promotional banners repository.

This is a good place to follow the updates and get up-to-date information about future ones.
mat_viewportscale 0.75 should be removed from the comanglia toaster config in this website imo, its super blurry and changing internal resolution does nothing for FPS, just makes everything harder to identify and might give you a headache while you play.
