im pretty sure the volume and quality of pugs has never been lower on any major pug system

i only see like 20 different people add to advanced pugs in the past month, the majority of IM/invite players just don't play it

i think the beginner division is doing well and i dont know about the amateur one but people clearly are not willing to play advanced pugs, there have been days where literally one pug is played all day

unless the problems with faceit are fixed and people actually start to play again we need to move pugs to a different place, pugchamp has been down but it would be the best option

there are like 5 alt accounts in amateur in total due to players not wanting to be forced onto medic in advanced pugs.

you just need to bypass the privacy error idk why that even exists. faceit adv for me personally just isn't enjoyable enough to play (which is admittedly more an issue with the players that play it and not the system)

i painfully climbed out of beginner pocketing for pub medics and my reward for that was having to wait twice as long for a pug in amateur. not exactly the system's fault but still doesn't make any sense as an incentive.

edit: to be fair i'd just be getting fatkidded in pugchamp ~60 percent of the time, but it seems like some hybrid could work.

i consider myself a reasonably good player on any 6s class and in that regard am pretty well off in advanced, however i'm not exactly the most recognizable player. ive never been huge on pugs so theres still a ton of people who dont know me. that said, it feels awful to be pushed into playing medic (really nobody should be pushed to play something) simply because a more recognizable player wants to play something else. its partially me not being known thats the issue but its kinda a catch22 because in order to play what i want (at least sometimes) i have to play a ton of medic pugs and then boom im known for playing medic. id rather just wait, added up to a different class and potentially not get picked, to eventually get a game on a class i DO want to play than to even add up to this system anymore.

Faceit beginner is aids, brand new players start at level 3 so the matchmaking system does not work whatsoever which means the only way to get out is to be either really really good and play scout or get lucky/duo queue. Bring back moveups plz. You should also be able to add up to classes im sick of getting a team with 0 med players so our med ends up being horseshit

amateur is pretty bad when u have steel players to im players playing and no one really listens. There's also obvious alts that don't get banned for whatever reason. No class picking which is awful because if you have no one that wants to medic someone is forced to play it, and the last to join is forced to medic puts people with a worse computer at a disadvantage. Beginner moveups keep their captain priority from beginner which is p dumb.

Faceit killed my pugging experience. I played a total of 3 or 4 pugs on the system in early march and haven’t used it since. Inhousing in ether’s mumble is always a good time and it patches the gap pretty well imo
