good pugs seem especially hard to come by these days if you're not high IM/invite or have enough of a reputation to get picked in pugchamp
faceit will give you a lot of pugs but their system hurts to play for reasons that have been discussed ad nauseam
ive had a lot of people recommend going back to tf2center to pug now which probably says a lot about the state of pug sites
other than that, there's always whatever in-houses you can find, assuming they can find 12 gamers that wont full-time huntsman

mixchamp was pretty sick for open pugs but people abandoned it

idk about advanced and above, but i feel very strongly that amateur faceit is cancer due more to the people that play it than the format. 59 pugs now and i have not once seen there be any real issues with someone playing med or whatever class, just the usual bitching when losing. if mixchamp came back and players migrated over to it, the quality of the open pugs wouldn't change very much.

Pugs need medic mains. Currently at the open level, medics are playing faceit pugs for keys, so if you want to pug you're most likley gonna have to deal with shitty faceit pugs, play tf2center with friends, or try to find an inhouse group somehow.
