just want to vouch for shark if he ends up doing this again. if anyone is desperate for a place to stay especially last minute like i was last rewind, shark was super accommodating to everyone, had a good amount of space and hes literally one of the nicest people i've met in tf2. do not turn this option down just because you dont know who he is/whatever other reason. also he lives in tustin which is a pretty nice area and there was a lot of restaurants/corner stores in walking distance.

i know its still really early but is there plans/talks of having any sort of open tourney on saturday after teams qualify for the invite bracket because aside from pugging, there wasnt much to do saturday last rewind. not saying it needs to have a prize pool or anything but something else for teams that dont move on would be fun especially since saturday usually doesnt have that interesting/important matches to spectate until later in the day.
