CONNECTING TO STV TO SPECTATE

1) Open TF2 and enable console under Advanced Options. Open console by pressing ~. 2) Type connect and the listed IP address. It will look something like connect 11.203.10.70:27020. 3) Press enter to load into the game. STV has a delay of a couple minutes from the live match. 4) Use the space bar, mouse, and WASD keys to change perspective and move throughout the map.

Man this is really useful. For someone like me who isn't in competitive circles this makes following the esport much more accessible. If only we could have this every week and then VODS posted soon after the match finished/stream links while the match is live.

Ok, thanks.

MOCHA, on the following posts, I suggest you use 24 hour format and CST or CDT notation please.

no need for 24 hour format. and if you can't tell what the p and e are for when there's two times that are 3 hours apart, that's a personal problem, not mocha's issue to fix.

Well, the 24h format doesn't make sense when the only times shown are US times.
It would make sense to include both Europe and Australia, like VanillaTF2 does, e.g. :
12:15 PM PDT / 3:15 PM EDT / 21:15 CEST / 06:15 AEDT

harbleumix^ vs LG (the snakewater match we have pushed back 3 weeks) will likely be played on monday.

Thanks for the heads-up; you can message me at any time when the time gets confirmed.

I'll list possible changes/additions I can do for these schedules here: teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/819-weekly-match-schedules

At some point this may become too cluttered to be useful but some IM games should certainly qualify.

Alternatively, you can make it a link to automatically start tf2 and connect to the IP.
